Nothing is Cal's fault.Since 2015 Cal is 26-33 against ranked teams. Is that anything to do with coaching?

This is painful to read. Calipari coaches at the University of Kentucky for God's sake. 26-33 against ranked teams is pathetic. For Kentucky it is unforgiveable.Since 2015 Cal is 26-33 against ranked teams. Is that anything to do with coaching?
And 26-33 is more pathetic.26-23 against ranked teams is pathetic.
Thanks for the correction, yes it is. I edited it to correct the typo. 26-33. DangAnd 26-33 is more pathetic.
How can you say that? This team most definitely has the talent to be top 5 or 10 with even just a decent coach who actually cares.Ultimately this team IMO just doesn't have the players and talent to be considered anywhere near where they need to be.
Having said that, the coach recruits these players and puts together the team. The coach also is responsible for the lineup and who is playing and it's been discussed ad nauseum here that we aren't even playing our optimal lineup. Like at all.
Cal goes as his recruiting classes go.

And Cal couldn't win championships with most of those guys either.Do you honestly believe that?
I mean look at the game last night. At the end of the game what was the difference? KU had a go to guy that made shots down the stretch?
Who is that on this team? We have Oscar and IMO a bunch of guys that are good role players.
And this isn't any disrespect on our guys but just thinking about what we used to have. Wall, Cousins, Towns, Booker, Davis etc etc etc. I mean we haven't seen that in quite some time here.
KU didn't run anything like we did down the stretch like Toppin's 17ft fall away or his inexplicable post up charge. They put the ball in their AAs hands. And Cal couldn't win championships with most of those guys either.
We made no adjustments to shut down Kansas' go to player either, unless you count relaxing off of him enough to give him an opening. That's coaching.
We didn't run anything. We never do.KU didn't run anything like we did down the stretch like Toppin's 17ft fall away or his inexplicable post up charge. They put the ball in their AAs hands.
We are. It was stark watching the difference in execution. We didn't run anything. We never do.
Kansas did run specific plays/strategies.
We may be saying the same thing.
Not too long ago, pre-season, people were saying the Cats were Top 5 with a great shot to win #9. Then they had to play the games. How can you say that? This team most definitely has the talent to be top 5 or 10 with even just a decent coach who actually cares.
He hasn't been to a final 4 in 7 seasons and we sure are making it this season. Is it always the recruiting or is it time to finally look at the coach?Ultimately this team IMO just doesn't have the players and talent to be considered anywhere near where they need to be.

He hasn't even won a tournament game since the 2018-19 squad...he needed to be put out to pasture 5 years ago.He hasn't been to a final 4 in 7 seasons and we sure are making it this season. Is it always the recruiting or is it time to finally look at the coach?
As I see it.Since 2015 Cal is 26-33 against ranked teams. Is that anything to do with coaching?
