The 2017 UNC team was good obviously..but they bought that title. They should have went home in the 2nd round against Arkansas if not for blatant, corrupt officiating. Not even going to bring up the E8 game with them sob’s
White is superior to Hagans right now and it's not even close.
The PJ/Maye matchup is a push.
Reid and Herro have significant advantages at their positions.
Keldon and Cam Johnson is also a push.
Both benches do about the same amount of damage.

Which means exactly what? It’s much different if UK stil had players from that game, but unless I’m forgetting someone, no one from that team is on this team.

I am scared of everyone in march. I have seen us lay an egg waaayyyy to many times this time of year to not be paranoid. Looking at the teams we have had over the last decade and only 1 championship is a mediocre result at best. Hasn't given me much confidence.

Agree. he needs to drive under control, he charges in there like a bull in a china shop at times and commits unnecessary fouls
This. Against a team like UNC that plays mostly straight up D, you have to take it at them and get to the free throw line. I don't believe they are coached to flop the way Tennessee is, so driving to the basket will actually be a net gain, whereas you can't afford to risk it against the world champion floppers of UT.

I wouldn’t think anybody is scared of the UNcheat it’s just the fact that it’s tourny time and we beat them earlier this year so they have the revenge factor on their side. For me, I wanna play UNc and all the other good teams. I think playing other blue bloods is what makes the run to a title so fun! They could easily beat us but I say bring on the Tar Cheats!

I will worry about North Carolina when the game time is set to play North Carolina. We couldn't even get past K-State last year for the same reasons, people were overlooking them

Hagans: 8.6 ppg, 4.6 apg, 2.6 rpg
White: 17.2 ppg, 3.9 apg, 4 rpg
As for Keldon vs Cam, Cam Johnson has better numbers than PJ Washington who was named 3rd team AA except for 1.5 rebounds less per game. Every other stat is better and he's what makes that UNC team.

That's how they got the #1 seed, those two wins. The confidence to play Duke even with Zion allowed them to play close in ACC Tournament.
This Kentucky team is better than both those teams in 2011 (UK and UNC) and I think they are the best team in this Region.
Keldon v Johnson a push? Cameron is easily the better player. The guy shoots over 40% from 3. Keldon drives where help defense is there.

UNC under Roy has always had a size advantage. They've usually smothered their opponents with bodies down low....
In 2017, although we were faster (bad whistle too btw) Bam just could not handle Meeks and all of the depth down low (Bad bad whistle)...Hump saved the say...but Wenyen/Willis weren't able to take some pressure off Bam.
This year? They just aren't as imposing athletically. PJ Washington can do anything Luke Maye can do....all while being 10000 times more athletic. Reid is more of a man than anyone they can throw at him. Nick and EJ are just longer than anyone they have...added with some athleticism.
Cam Johnson has a good build like a Justin Jackson...but we have length that other teams don't have that can make his shots more difficult...and he has to play defense against quicker guys that can wear him out...
Hagans has a STRONG advantage over White. White dominates against non-athletic guards...but he's only 42.8% FG shooter for the year....he doesn't do well against athletic teams

I agree Kentucky is overall a better team. The only question is how May plays. Can our guys clamp down on him defensively. He’s not a world beater just a player that plays hard.
First , stating White is playing better at this point in time doesnt mean any UK fan is " scared" of the Heels .. far from it . It's just taking the blue goggles off and stating the obvious White is playing at a higher level the past 4-6 weeks.
Also from watching the cheats I've been impressed with the skinny leg dude - I think he;s # 24 -- dude is playing very very well in the tourney. He looks like a rising star to me. But we have every part to match them overall , just hope we win Friday and then go " all in " the cheats

How is Hagans better? He's scored in single digits 23 out of 35 games. White has only done that 7 times. Hell, White has three times more 30 point games as Hagans has 20 point games.
I get that playing great defensive is important, but PG's should either be scoring, assisting, or doing both. If a PG can't score 10 a game while being the primary ball handler he should be getting 7+ assists.

Lay an egg? Aren’t we at or near the top for NCAA winning percentage? And have the second most titles all time? Including 3 titles in the last 23 years, that’s far from laying eggs.
I have no earthly idea why everyone all the sudden is so high on Carolina. We destroyed them early and we would do it again. Big deal...coby white has gotten better... so has our whole team. Only reason I can think of is because they beat Duke 2 times without Zion and most decent teams could do that
