Reading that Jack Pilgrim article something really stood out to me.He said the 2 coaches(Barbee/Justus) who believed in him most were gone.Did he feel Cal didn't believe in him?
That was just his excuse. That and being home sick. He will end up farther away than Lexington. He just got scared and did not want to compete against whoever will be committing this weekend

We need capable ball handlers more so than a "true" PG. The 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2017 teams didn't rely on just one player to do all the ball handling and set up teammates. They had lineups with 3-4 players on the court who could handle and get to the rim.

Nope ... hasn’t happened. What people maybe have said is we didn’t need to be running Hickman out there as our starting PG and playing him 30 mpg because he’s not ready for that. Never saw anyone say the kid isn’t good enough.
