This, my friend. It's a huge weakness this year. Huge.
Yep the big gaping hole in the fabric...surprised we haven't been exposed more than we have with virtually nothing down low...
Missing on Bamba sealed our fate...

Yep. Very weak in the middle this year. Richards just doesn't have it yet.Yep the big gaping hole in the fabric...surprised we haven't been exposed more than we have with virtually nothing down low...

Where's the backup QB when you need him? There's always someone on the bench who could come in and start winning the game for us [eyeroll]
Same here. Other players get to play through mistakes, see Diallo, but SKJ doesn't. He seems to make plays when he's in there. He makes shots, gets rebounds and goes after blocks, but then he makes one mistake and he's gone.SKJ needs to play more period. I love SKJ energy, heart and offensive skills but Cal has took a lot of his confidence away. Something is definitely going on.
Both SKJ and Richards I think but SKJ gives us more rebounding and offense. Richards can't catch any balls and only scores at the line.Regarding SKJ - he still looks completely lost on defense to me. Just my observation.

If you don’t you’re stupid.Hoskins do you really want them back? I'd rather have kids with less talent but play with more heart.
I haven't seen Richards protecting anything in a long time. He's too slow to help and when the ball is passed, too slow to recover. The SEC has dunked on him basically all year. When you couple that with the inability to catch rebounds and lobs, he's become a liability that needs developing. Like SKJ as well.Richards is much better defensively than SKJ who is never in position to help protect the rim when UK players get beat off the dribble. I would bet that the opposing player that Richards guards scores by far the least number of points on the floor when he is out there. Richards spends a good part of his time confronting straight line drives from defensive lapses by Knox/Green/Diallo/Gabriel.
