The fact that I'm hoping/wishing/praying for Nick to suit up tuesday is strange coming from me in that i've posted things against Nick saying "his freshman year he looked like he'd been playing basketball for 4 years, his sophomore year he looks like he's being playing it for 5." and "Nick couldn't catch a cold if he was barefoot in icewater" BUT… he did show improved body language and alpha male-ness in 2 meaningless warm up games - So, I've drunk the Koolaid, WE NEED NICK!

So the season hasn’t even begun and already we have an injured player. It certainly doesn’t sound too bad, but it’s following a trend we’ve had in recent years. We’re going to need all hands on deck for MSU.
Injuries are part of the game. MSU has a major player hurt and unable to play.

I would take that bet. I expect Richards to sit out Kentucky State and play against Michigan State.

I'm leaning towards both. Cal doesn't rush players back like other coaches would. And I don't think he would care that much if we lost to MSU, in early November. I would bet he plays it safe here. He'll give Nick another week of rest and try and win with what we have.

I wish they would stop switching every time someone sets a pick, especially when it involves a center and guard- maybe fight the pick or at least don't just randomly switch every time- its how centers, big guys get hurt

I think if he's not healed, then dont play him tuesday. He is an asset long term this season.

I mean mich st., is playing with injuries too?
