I am SO happy for the kid. As a freshman he looked downright lost on the court at times, had hands of stone, was a big disappointment. With Travis Reid and EJ Montgomery coming, + PJ returning, it seemed inevitable he would tuck tail and bounce, but he came back.... and seemingly made no improvements. Good for the occasional rebound or lob, but largely the same useless 7 footer... but he returned again, put in the work, and is now one of the best players in the conference. He is a shining example of the benefits of experience (and of course hard work).
