Edit: I guess the caption says it all.
Scott Frost adopted an Oregon high school student in the foster care system who was about to be sent to Washington. “That’s probably the best thing I’ve done,” he said. “I’m happy to say he graduated from the University of Oregon.”
Too bad the article that left me feeling good about a guy helping a kid out (regardless whether he is the football coach or not) had to be blasted with three negative comments after it. I bet those turds never lifted a finger to help a kid out unless he or she was his own.
I wasn't insinuating that we have a right to know this....what I meant was I was surprised that some sports writer had not blabbed this information out to the Frost-hungry masses.
It did not surprise me at all that Scott Frost would do this....that is exactly the kind of man I thought he is.

I remember reading about it when he was at Oregon.

From the bottom of that article: Chris recently started his freshman year on the football team at a small college outside Oregon. Frost planned to buy him a truck that could handle snow. Under the "Personal" heading on Chris' online player profile page it says, "Son of Scott Frost."
The biggest takeaway from the article is Scott's emphasis on the need for mentors -

“If you think you don’t have enough time, you have enough time, because they don’t need all your time. They just need someone who’s there for them; if they’re in trouble, you’re there. If they need advice, you’re there. That’s all these kids need. They need to know somebody cares.
