Same guy lots of experts on this board said wasn’t good enough to be a starting TE at NU…Nate Boerchicher 2nd round? Crazy

Yeah, fellas cucking for Frost is weird. Rhule sucks but has objectively done a better job.
The question was who was better at getting talent in the door
Rhule fan boys are going to make this the new thing...that Rhule recruits really well. While he is still playing Frost players.Yep, asked and answered. Not sure what their hang up is now? Other than stumping for Rhule I guess. Just seems like an odd hill to die on with regard to this particular topic given how indisputable it is.
When it comes to recruiting (at least so far)…
Frost >>>>> Rhule
He's a safety. Ran a 4.35 at the combine.Bears take a white corner.. BAHAHA
Good luck with that.
Our Husker media types hemmed and hawed about the new coaches being able to "step up" to coaching at Nebraska. They coached better players last year. That's insane. We've had four players drafted in the last two years. Even schools like SDSU are getting players drafted in the first round. Rhule needs to be shown the door, or we'll be stuck in mediocrity for perpetuity.
Side note- Indiana had 47 players age 22-25. Fourth, fifth, sixth year guys. Several of them will be or already have been drafted. That's why they beat Ohio State. But credit should be given to Cignetti for identifying talent and developing it. That's something Nebraska has not done in a long time.As Tom noted a few times, winning is hard. It would seem logical to deduce that Cignetti is a better coach than Day. That said, Cignetti hit on the most important position with a senior experienced QB. Gignetti doesn’t get to the tourney without Mendoza IMO.
That's what we are reduced to now? This ****** coach is more ****** that that ****** coach? So you like the guy who can't get it AND can't develop it, vs the guy who can get it but just can't develop it? Does. Not. Compute.

These are the same fans that complained that Bo couldn't recruit.
Rhule is the kind of coach that Purdue and Illinois would have hired (Well, Purdue would still hire him). Basically a coach from the MAC with one season that sort of looked good...then ends up at Illinois or Purdue...spits out 4-5 super lame seasons and then gets canned.Oh, there's nothing new about it. I've seen it posted more than once on here. One of the most laughable Rhule fallacies going. That and "he seems like a great guy" are two of my favorites.

One could argue that one of the reasons OSU didn’t run the table was inexperience at multiple key positions. QB is the most obvious. Virtually every coach I listen to when asked about there rooster mentions needing to get old. It’s going to be interesting to see what Cignetti does this year.Side note- Indiana had 47 players age 22-25. Fourth, fifth, sixth year guys. Several of them will be or already have been drafted. Who said this, sure it wasn't you? I said he was our most talented TE when we had Fidone on the roster.Same guy lots of experts on this board said wasn’t good enough to be a starting TE at NU…

my Jets
I don’t believe his running style, pass blocking and top end speed translate well to the NFL. He would be more valuable if he had also had success as a returner. I’ve said from the beginning that he wasn’t going to be an early round pick.Am I to believe EJ isn't one of the top 132 avaiable players in college at this point? Really? I'm a little surprised he's still available.
Yep that’s a direct result of the portal.Because all the good ones moved to FBS through the portal

Cole Payton 178th pick, good for the Westside kid, be interesting if he makes their cut.
We did have one of the youngest teams y3 years for Rhule at Nebraska. 3 total draft picks. Yikes.

Rhule’s first class are all juniors and draft eligible. Rhule also brought in a lot of upperclassmen the last 3 years via the portal. 0 of his guys that he has brought in have been drafted. We did have one of the youngest teams y
In the Big10 last season.
From 2016 to this year, Nebraska has had 18 players drafted. technically 11 years. We've only had 12 drafted in the last ten years.
And we have gone to a bowl game the last two years and won 7 games each year. I am not necessarily jumping for joy on the results so far . But if the talent is so terrible we aren’t getting anyone drafted how are winning the majority of our games? You guys can have it both ways. Matt Rhule sucks and has done less with more you say , but the draft says opposite.Rhule’s first class are all juniors and draft eligible. Holy loser attitude. I thought we dogged on our rival for celebrating 8 win seasons? And we have gone to a bowl game the last two years and won 7 games each year. I don’t make fun of Iowa I don’t act Like a child like some on this board. Am i happy with Rhules results so far ? Not really but he has made changes when needed. this is his last chance. The next two years will determine Matt Rhules time at Nebraska.Holy loser attitude. I thought we dogged on our rival for celebrating 8 win seasons?
I don't ever want to hear you make fun of Iowa again.
I believe it shows Rhule's staff isn't developing any of their players to a high enough level to be drafted and as for wins he's squeaked by bad teams that he out talented and lost to every ranked team. He's 18-56 vs teams that finished with a winning record in his career. 7-15 at Nebraska against teams that finished with a winning record. And we have gone to a bowl game the last two years and won 7 games each year.
