Yeah, fellas cucking for Frost is weird. Rhule sucks but has objectively done a better job.

I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but If you think admitting Frost (our worst coach ever) was a better recruiter than Rhule (not opinion, fact) is “cucking” you’re probably the one being cucked, bud.

The question was who was better at getting talent in the door

Yep, asked and answered. Not sure what their hang up is now? Other than stumping for Rhule I guess. Just seems like an odd hill to die on with regard to this particular topic given how indisputable it is.

When it comes to recruiting (at least so far)…
Frost >>>>> Rhule

Rhule fan boys are going to make this the new thing...that Rhule recruits really well. While he is still playing Frost players.

These are the same fans that complained that Bo couldn't recruit.

That's insane. We've had four players drafted in the last two years. Even schools like SDSU are getting players drafted in the first round. Rhule needs to be shown the door, or we'll be stuck in mediocrity for perpetuity.
Our Husker media types hemmed and hawed about the new coaches being able to "step up" to coaching at Nebraska. They coached better players last year.

As Tom noted a few times, winning is hard. It would seem logical to deduce that Cignetti is a better coach than Day. That said, Cignetti hit on the most important position with a senior experienced QB. Gignetti doesn’t get to the tourney without Mendoza IMO.
Side note- Indiana had 47 players age 22-25. Fourth, fifth, sixth year guys. Several of them will be or already have been drafted. That's why they beat Ohio State. But credit should be given to Cignetti for identifying talent and developing it. That's something Nebraska has not done in a long time.

Oh, there's nothing new about it. I've seen it posted more than once on here. One of the most laughable Rhule fallacies going. That and "he seems like a great guy" are two of my favorites.

Rhule is the kind of coach that Purdue and Illinois would have hired (Well, Purdue would still hire him). Basically a coach from the MAC with one season that sort of looked good...then ends up at Illinois or Purdue...spits out 4-5 super lame seasons and then gets canned.

Rhule is not only bad at recruiting but pretty bad at coaching.

That's what we are reduced to now? This ****** coach is more ****** that that ****** coach?

Hahaha, well a little context...

That was in response to one of our resident Rhule apologists trying to tell us all that Rhule is no worse at recruiting than any other coach we've ever had. And he was (rightly) called out by someone for being wrong (again), which led to that post.

One could argue that one of the reasons OSU didn’t run the table was inexperience at multiple key positions. QB is the most obvious. Virtually every coach I listen to when asked about there rooster mentions needing to get old. It’s going to be interesting to see what Cignetti does this year.

He's a safety. Ran a 4.35 at the combine.

Conservatively speaking , there's at least 250?? probably more defensive backs and that's including safeties on NFL rosters , and I think what, about 4 or 5, are white? Feels like swimming upstream to me but he is an athletic freak, and few teams have drafted better the last few seasons than Da Bears, so i'll concede they know (a lot) more than I do about this. It just seemed odd.
