I’m sure we will never find out how he’d do at a top level program as he is more towards the end of his career. To take South Carolina to a final four you can’t be too bad of a coach.

That was total luck. He has literally been to the NCAA tournament once in 9 years. He’s only there bc he had a lucky tournament run. He’s just not a very good coach.

Im glad you asked this. It hasn’t been asked today until this thread. To go on record I would want Brad Stevens as well however I’m sure Barney will screw that up somehow.

Can’t believe we are still talking about it. Nothing is changing until AFTER next season at the absolute earliest. Waste of time and team support energy.

If Texas hires Cal, as is rumored in another thread. I think my top choice at this time would be to go after Oats. This is obviously assuming Stevens and Donovan are staying in the NBA. I don't know a lot about Oats' background, but as long as the aren't any major "skeletons" that would be my top choice. I think we could get him too.
