wtf? Thanks. We are gonna look like Tennessee football when it comes time to replace Cal. We will have 4-5 turn it down
I don’t know how to respond to thisThe only logical answer in this day and age is an up and coming person of color. Anything else is indicative of the old white patriarchy and privilege.
I don't care if the next coach is white, black, blue or red as long as he put's the University Of Kentucky first and not the NBA.The only logical answer in this day and age is an up and coming person of color. Anything else is indicative of the old white patriarchy and privilege.
I used to watch that show and think she was smokin hot also. That’s kinda funny. Always wondered if I was in the minority.
Hell, my Wife could at least implement some sort of cohesive offense for this team and some out of bounds plays. Could probably show them some shooting tips as well.
She’s not a witch. At least not that I know of. Well, I hope she isn’t anyway. She’s at least fairly easy on the eyes.

We are Kentucky we will be fineThanks. We are gonna look like Tennessee football when it comes time to replace Cal. We will have 4-5 turn it down
Are you saying that’s what you want as a head coach?Frank Martin , Bruce Pearl, Nate Oats, Mark Pope, Travis Ford, Pat Riley, Dewayne Peevy, Frank Vogel, Eric Spoelstra, Kenny Payne or anyone interested in the best for the program. I’ve been pro Cal for a long time, but I think that time has left the building.
Well he has a very high basketball IQ and is a straight up alpha. Never thought about him, but I can dig it.Even though he would be terrible with media and most fans, I still want to pull Rondo from the NBA.
Someone that just wants to win and puts the program first. Yeah pretty much. Now the guys I was naming some I wouldn’t mind having and some I was just throwing names out there. However most on that list have a high basketball IQ and get a lot out of their guys. I would love to see what Frank Martin could do here. Are you saying that’s what you want as a head coach?
Based off the past 3 months? Never mind the previous 10 seasons
I’m being very conservative/modest with that statement. My Wife is flat out bangin’. She knows that I realize that.See, the “fairly” in “fairly easy on the eyes” is what’s gonna cost you if she reads the boards.
Heck no on frank martin,he has only one good team that done anythingSomeone that just wants to win and puts the program first. Yeah pretty much. Bradley Stephens!
https://selectsurnames.com/stevens/Except it’s Stevens, lol.
He’s never had a job like this one. I just like the guy’s passion and he gets a lot out of what he has to work with. I think he’d have a lot more to work with here and he is a no nonsense type of guy. I think he is a good coach that could excel here. I’m sure we will never find out how he’d do at a top level program as he is more towards the end of his career. To take South Carolina to a final four you can’t be too bad of a coach.Heck no on frank martin,he has only one good team that done anything
Wow. What a terrible post.Thanks. We are gonna look like Tennessee football when it comes time to replace Cal. We will have 4-5 turn it down
I can’t believe a fan of our program would make a post like that. Unbelievablewtf?
I believe Mark Few is a realistic option. You need to be realistic to brother
It’s just me but I rather have a younger more energetic head coachHe’s never had a job like this one. I just like the guy’s passion and he gets a lot out of what he has to work with. what makes you think that?I believe Mark Few is a realistic option.
The weird Cal fanatics on the board will attack you for this post. Cal sought out this job and begged to get it, but no one would want this job according to them. Coaches wouldn’t want to coach a blue blood program ,with top notch facilities, the winningest program in history, best fan base.... what coach would want that? LolI believe Mark Few is a realistic option.
He's been to 1 Sweet 16 in the 10 years hes coached and thats his peak.Chris Holtmann - nobody else needs to be interviewed

Doubt if Few or Wright would be interested. Donovan or Stevens, who knows. I like Nate Oats but he is still young and he may be a more recent version of Coach BCG. Chris Holtmann and John Beilein deserve a call. I am very intrigued by Frank Vogel. All his time has been in the NBA but he did graduate from UK, playing on the JV team started by Pitino. To say he knows the program would be an overstatement, but he has been here (albeit over 20 years ago). Weakness is no college coaching experience But that is why you put together a staff His Indiana Pacers teams seemed to overachieve as to their roster talent. Reluctantly hired by the Lakers last year but meshed LeBron and AD with role players to win the championship. Young (47) and could tell recruits he won a championship in the NBA. Don’t know if he would be interested but I would give him a call, should Cal decide to leave or be bought out. I remember when Sutton left and everybody was saying that UK was interested in Pitino but he would not leave the Knicks. UK was in a pretty dire situation then compared to now. Biggest problem facing a new coach now would be the makeup of the roster for the first couple of years. With any of the 3 NBA coaches, I think you would get instant credibility with recruits. It is imperative, to me, that any candidate considered would understand that he is being hired to win games at UK, commit to a balanced roster (not an NBA farm team), and promote the tradition of the program.

Kinda crazy Few is "not interested" but you think Spolstra would leave Miami after like 15 years or Frank Vogel is just going to ditch Lebron James AD and the LAL. Thats some of the most unrealistic hires I've heard yet, they have no connections to the high school circuit.Agree...he would be my first call. I've said him and Spoelstra. Stevens, eh, I'd rather have either of those two.
Then make sure the new guy doesn't have a contract prohibitive to buyout. If he's not getting it done in 4/5 yrs, go out and hire the new guy who has "risen up". My disgust for the known outweighs the fear of the unknown.Haha....ok. The point is the concept and the numbers are not in Kentucky’s favor. It’s just common sense. I’ve said it 20 times and will say it again, some of y’all are so blinded by your hatred for Calipari that you can’t actually think clearly and rationally for the good of the program. Spare me the BS about me wanting to retain Calipari for any number of reasons. I have absolutely no problem getting rid of Calipari. Kentucky has a quality problem as it relates to choices of people to hire who would even consider the job. They just aren’t there. Therefore, it is a significant risk long term. Short-term that person may come in and do as well as Calipari is now (terrible). The risk lies 4-5 years down the round. The right person may rise up and make it clear in the next couple years. The person doesn’t exist right now as the Kentucky ready candidate.
