I can definitely think of two in particular who “think” they could step right in.

Where did Chris Carawell go?
I thought so but haven't checkedI think he’s in Marquette with wojo. I thought Tyler Thornton was there too
Apparently Chris Carawell will be coming back to Duke!!I think he’s in Marquette with wojo. I thought Tyler Thornton was there too

Where did Chris Carawell go?
Yes I heard the same thing! Pretty awesome!According to Jeff Goodman. Chris Carrawell is the next assistant coach.
Wow if true!
I like the Carrawell hire....didn’t really think it would be an option.
Welcome home, Chris!
Where did Chris Carawell go?
FYI....Goodman at ESPN indicated that Carawell from Marquette has been hired to replace Capel
I would HATE if this were true! Love Nolan and think he will be an amazing recruiter going forward. Not sure I understand why he would follow Capel vs staying at Duke.Wow if true!
My guess is Nolan Smith is elevated from special assistant to assistant coach. I think Tyler Thornton would be an outstanding option to replace Nolan.
What a sweet deal if your a former Duke player. Play for K, maybe get a shot at the NBA, then come back and coach for K, then get your own gig. That would be a selling point for me if I were a 4 star recruit.
Adam Rowe is an idiot so it could be true but he jumps the gun a lot and is wrong a lot so well see
We should hire Ross Perot to write music for us because he has big ears. You don't need to be a forward or center to teach/coach big guys. Who is the former world class big guy that gets Carolinas mediocre bigs to rebound their tails off and hit 10 ft jumpers consistemtly?
Chris coached this old guy at K Academy. He was the first guy who popped into my head. Knows his stuff and a great guy! Perfect fitAccording to Jeff Goodman. Chris Carrawell is the next assistant coach.
Best news I’ve heard all day! Not to downplay all of Capel’s contributions to the program but Nolan is the one I would be most sad to see representing a school other than Duke.
