Real Clear Politics is a right wing website. Here’s the current polling in various races and the generic ballot. Comically hideous for the GOP. If anything, polling slightly overestimated Rs in the last midterm btw.

I want to be clear. In every election since 2016, the losing team can point to something that was a legit silver lining. Hillary winning the popular vote in 2016, Rs gaining Senate seats in 2018, Trump/Rs generating what should have been divided government in 2020 (until Trump tanked the Senate runoffs in GA), Dems overperforming in 2022, and Dems barely losing the House in 2024.

There is no silver lining here. It’s going to be an utter bloodbath. Sens Talarico and El Sayed. Rs losing Alaska and Ohio. The House easily Dem. Dems rolling in Gov races.

This is a massacre waiting to happen.

I think my favorite part of MAGA is that it traded normal white suburban voters for a grab bag of groups who were Dem leaning but against wokeism (a positive) and generally believed Trump was an economic talisman. The minute they realized Trump is an economic illiterate (tariffs lol) who doesn’t care at all about pricesTrump’s support collapsed.

This isn’t new or Iran either folks. This happened in 2025 post tariffs. In certain Latino heavy precincts, Rs saw a 40-50 point decline in support in the NJ and VA Gov races.
