I don't have the hubris to opine on what God thinks about (the Pope should, in Catholic Church doctrine he is basically the envoy of God to the church membership), but I would not expect that a just God would be excited about warmaking in his name.

I'm a supporter of the Iran conflict, for reasons definitely not related to God or religion. I would be cautious of arguing that God supports the conflict, however.

Are there elections coming up?

I thought the distinction between Christianity and Judaism was the New Testament, but perhaps I missed that.

My BIL mentioned here has passed yesterday @ 92, his first day in Hospice care.
My Sister # 3 and he were married for 68 years !

He joined the Armed Services from college to bring $ into his family to keep it from poverty.
He retired from the USAF as an E-9 (the highest Enlisted rank.) and thru constant real estate transactions and businesses became a millionaire.
