Yes, it was a minor inconvenience for you and your kids. It was an unnecessary hardship for many families, and those that are less fortunate than you.

We should all want to learn what mistakes were made and how it could have been avoided. Instead we have a lack of transparency and people covering their asses.
And of course people willing to cover for the people covering their asses.

If you want answers don't assign the task to the Republican Senators that "want to put him behind bars", set up a performative perjury trap instead of a hearing, believes that he killed millions, that ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine were effective, that the vaxx killed more than it helped. Clown show and those on this site clamoring for him to be jailed are just following the clown parade. In light of the witch prosecution Paul and the Republican clowns were aiming for, any lawyer would have required that Fauci take the Fifth. So whose fault is the outcome of that hearing?

I don’t disagree with that. His attorneys did their job and Fauci did what anyone would do in that situation. I’m not upset about yesterday. I do think we deserve more answers.

It’s obvious it came from the lab. If it came from an animal, they would have identified the animal by now. Records from the lab were destroyed. Doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots.

Wrong. Many of us have been clamoring for the nerd to be held accountable for many years. It doesn’t take much to understand how truly terrible he is and how much he lied. He lied to Congress and he lied to the American people. His “advice” during Covid harmed an entire generation of children and left old people to die alone with family maybe being able to peek through a window. The fact is Fauci could now be held in contempt of Congress, which is a crime. You should ask yourself why you are impelled to deflect from criminal activity, just as you denied TdA in Colorado.

I’m told by Squish that there is no correlation. Sure, Hamlin just died on the football field in the one NFL hit I could absorb. Same with the Danish soccer player and so many more. Funny thing is athletes have ceased dying on the field. Weird, right?
Holy Christ, what year are we in?

It is 2026 and if you had a working brain, you would understand Covid was no worse than the flu per Dr. “Mengele” Fauci who said the mortality rate was .2 to .3 percent in his private notes. You took countless test shots because Democrats and Fauci (same thing) wanted control of you. Congrats, you may be the biggest idiot in the village along with Democrat Senators who continue to defend Fauci. “Plague of the century!” LOL.

please allow me to connect you with my friend in Nigeria. He has a sick child and wife and needs you to wire $1. Don’t worry, you just need to provide your bank details and he will handle the rest.

I spent several years of my life arguing the death rate was was probably around this number .2 to .3%, and many saw that argument as monstrous. Glad The Fauch agreed.

If we had a truth and reconciliation commission on Covid, the Dems would have to admit they totally blew it on the restrictions and shutdowns and masks.

But the Rs would have to admit that the vaccines saved lives.

There will never be such a commission.

Let me get this right. The Dems and Fauci wanted to control me? By requiring me to take a vaccine after it was developed that the Gov. paid for, and requiring me to wear a mask at times that they supplied? Closing schools and court houses and other public buildings that prevented public business? By paying me and others substantial sums totaling Trillions in unemployment benefits, PPP and all the other programs? What the F does your crazy conspiracy mind tell you that they gained from that control over me in addition to their spending Trillions of dollars?

The blanket pardon for Fauci is BS. Pardons should be granted for specific/suspected crimes. This is simply the machine taking care of its own. The Founding Fathers would be appalled. Fauci is just an example. Who was using the auto pen during the Biden admin? Joe clearly wasn’t running anything. You could run a crime syndicate of drugs, trafficking and murder for 4 years, issue a blanket pardon for the people involved, and get away with it.

You’re still not at step 1 of realizing the US govt funded the lab where COVID escaped from. We don’t expect you to understand anything beyond that.

Nothing will happen and Trump will grant a blanket pardon for his family and those in his administration.

1. Trump just called Operation Warp Speed a SPECTACULAR SUCCESS just days ago. He wanted you to take the vaccine too.

2. We just had MAGA Rs on this very forum using “once in a 100 year” pandemic line to excuse Trump’s horrendous leadership in 2020. Which is it? Just the flu or such a horrible situation that he was forced to trust Fauci?

The U.S. supplied some funding to a research lab in Wuhan. No one is sure the virus escaped from the lab, but if it did, what is the big conspiratorial take away from that?

Ah, the high information voter.

I meant to respond to this earlier, but I just have to laugh at the take.

The chart demonstrates that, the greater the education, the more likely every income group is to vote Dem. I think it's fair to say it is likely that greater education would be correlated with more information on politics (so would income, but this chart correlates voting with education based on income levels, so income isn't something we can draw too many conclusions on here).

Personally, I think income also correlates with levels of political information, and I also think that correlation would be more charitable to the GOP. Rs would actually do better measuring voting preferences among mid and high income groups than they would among high education groups (where Rs struggle).

Of course, none of this has anything to do with the point about low information voters. The discussion of low information voters winning it for Trump in 2024 is about people who are politically disengaged and typically only vote in Presidential races (i.e., not those on this chain). Trump did really, really well among such voters in 2024, probably because many viewed him as an economic talisman (look up the word, it's fun) who would bring back 2017-19. Didn't happen ... real shock.

Ironically, Trump did not win because of such voters in 2016. He held onto enough high education Rs plus added working class whites in a way that pulled off a bunch of close wins in swing states. 2024 was a much more comprehensive victory, but he'd have likely lost the election had it been only 2022 midterm voters (the less engaged were some of his best demographics).

So yes, Trump is more reliant on low information voters than any R I can find, and they were particularly important in 2024.

Do you know what other pol did great among low info types? Give you a hint ... his middle name is Hussein.

It’s not a conspiracy. It was completely unnecessary and no one would have gotten sick if it weren’t for the lab. No shutdowns, schools open, no jobs lost. No million deaths. You don’t understand why people are pissed we funded the lab that caused this whole thing to happen? You don’t understand why people want transparency so we can try to prevent this from happening again?
