Do you think Rubio is doing a good job?

No. He is a mere minion for Trump and Trump would not take Rubio's advice. Rubio looks like he is in the Dean's office when he is seated next to Trump. Allies are alienated, we have insulted NATO, we have abandoned Ukraine and have taken EVERY step Putin has wanted us to follow, we have been manipulated by Netanyahu, we have lost the trust of our friends in the M.E. and we are on the verge of abandoning Taiwan because Xi threatened Trump. The world is a mess, and neither Trump nor Rubio has one accomplishment. Then they are foolish enough to ask our allies to get in the fight because Trump and Rubio are unable to resolve the fighting.

"Genocide" for God's sake. Robby Starbuck--good example of a complete know nothing, lying paranoid nut job. Why would anyone read or believe him?
Why did you return to the thread Stone? Not that you aren't welcome, just curious. You exhibited great discipline in staying away. Too many cocktails with your new neighbor @JeffT819 in south Florida?

Actually, I think I am going to leave again. The complete non-sense that you all repost from the RW bubble is borderline crazy. Two different realities and I do not accomplish anything by attacking your reality.

RE: Mandalorian. $246 million gross worldwide after 2nd weekend. Still 88% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes; recent reviews still consistently are mostly 5 stars. (loyal TV audience)

Rule of thumb is a movie like this needs to make 2 to 2.5 times its budget to break even and the budget was $165 million.

The point I want to make is: if you were a movie producer today how would you make money using the movie theaters to show it.
1) Make a movie on a relatively cheap budget, like based on a video game, and market the heck out of it. Minecraft was one of these with a production budget of about $150 million and a gross of $1 billion in 2025.
2) Remake a live action version of a popular cartoon like Lilo and Stitch. $100 million budget and $1.38 billion in gross revenue in 2025.
3) Make a serious or comedic movie with expensive, "name" stars. Not likely. Does anyone go to see a movie because XYZ star is in it?

The star model is fading. I keep reading these "stars" spouting their largely liberal views, like anyone cares. Hopefully the media quits giving them the microphone.

ps. in 2023 Oppenheimer was released with star actors and did really well. However, it not only had good acting it had real history going for it. But that was 2023 and this is 2026.
4). Shoot the movie not in LA or Callie ! Union rules and production costs are prohibitive to make money !

You have not. I've lumped you in with a couple others that post. You probably "liked" a few of them, so I lumped you in.

Got a little fired up this morning. This topic gets me going a little bit. Sorry for being a dick, I always enjoy our back and forth, and calling you a "great team player" was off base.
Your great consistency that you post about is wildly inconsistent.

The UK has 69 million people. The Arctic has 4 million spread across several countries. Strong argument for those that believe dense human populations make places warmer. Good stuff as usual.

I have been waiting for an update on the yak meat market.
Again you show little geo-political knowledge.

During the era of wooden sailing ships, much of Great Britain was denuded of the natural tree forests.

Invalid information, according to TJ. Just a private citizen.

If you believe Carson, you believe Trump gave 14 billion for a giant experiment with massive side effects that killed millions of people. If true, how could you ever vote/support that guy without being a massive squish? Just using your guys vocabulary for consistency.

Why doesn’t Trump speak up about any of this? If he was duped into giving $14 billion for a giant experiment that harmed/harms children, he has an obligation to tell the country. And yes, I’m completely aware that you guys don’t think he has the moral obligation to do anything. Zero expectations for your hero.
As you might recall Trump was a real estate builder concentrating on revitalizing distressed areas of NYC.

His election as President surprised him more than Hillary !

His greatest boondoggle was Cabinet level appointees and listening to high level Federal salaried liars. Plus the lack of knowledge of the grift distributed all over the World by US.

Yes. With the way liberals acted during Covid, the guard should be up for anyone.

This is the definition of rage bait. Some nobody author says something offensive. The signal gets blasted on twitter to feed engagement. Social media addicts like Dumbcoach slurp up the slop, get all worked up, and then spread it around, further increasing the engagement.

Don’t be Dumbcoach.
