He questioned the Georgia governor for opening up some businesses a full month after this.
And of course he had Fauci and Birx willfully feeding him misinformation. I wasn't a fan of Trump's during covid. The worst were the daily press conferences where the dippy CNN reporter and others kept trying to pick fights and he obliged.

Two things make all of the above a big ask.

1. The jury is still out on any potential long term effects imo. The medical community likes to study things like this over time and then make more definitive conclusions.

2. Trump doesn't like to admit mistakes. He rarely does and probably won't change course at this age. The MSM shreds every move he makes and beats it to death as he is evil. Can you imagine if he came out and announced health problems or even some deaths from OWS? I am guessing any political consultant worth his salt is telling him to not touch this rn and rightfully so.
I couldn't care less if he addresses it. I'm more concerned about illegals, H1B visas, beating the hell out of any foreign power in the Americas, and turning Cuba like Venezuela. I do think he is a dip about Iran. He should be hitting them harder than ever right now and getting the other Arab neighbors with troops on the ground. We can't do that en masse.

RE: Mandalorian. $246 million gross worldwide after 2nd weekend. Still 88% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes; recent reviews still consistently are mostly 5 stars. (loyal TV audience)

Rule of thumb is a movie like this needs to make 2 to 2.5 times its budget to break even and the budget was $165 million.

The point I want to make is: if you were a movie producer today how would you make money using the movie theaters to show it.
1) Make a movie on a relatively cheap budget, like based on a video game, and market the heck out of it. Minecraft was one of these with a production budget of about $150 million and a gross of $1 billion in 2025.
2) Remake a live action version of a popular cartoon like Lilo and Stitch. $100 million budget and $1.38 billion in gross revenue in 2025.
3) Make a serious or comedic movie with expensive, "name" stars. Not likely. Does anyone go to see a movie because XYZ star is in it?

The star model is fading. I keep reading these "stars" spouting their largely liberal views, like anyone cares. Hopefully the media quits giving them the microphone.

ps. in 2023 Oppenheimer was released with star actors and did really well. However, it not only had good acting it had real history going for it. But that was 2023 and this is 2026.
To the bolded, the answer is yes. Glen Powell has done some really good movies in the last 5 years. I will place movies that Michelle Yeoh is in on the watchlist.

Correct, it is a big ask. I just think the biggest health emergency/gov't shutdown in our lifetime deserves transparency. I would assume he has seen more data than any of us. It would help stop the endless misinformation on the topic, and a lot of speculation.

#2 is what I believe has held back the transparency. Again, I understand it. But man, this feels like THE topic where he could set aside ego and share important information not only with the citizens that voted him in, but people around the world. He does have the built in excuse that most people should know Fauci was not being honest with him. If it comes out later that OWS resulted in the death of thousands of people, and Trump is dead, his legacy is shot and he won’t be around to defend it.

Having people like Carson speak definitively about the vaccine’s harm doesn’t help anyone. What are people supposed to do with that information?

I’d love to let this stuff go but there are posts on this page about it every few days.

I didn’t criticize the 14 billion. But I would if I believed it led to childhood deaths, turbo cancers and heart disease.

If you guys would stop posting every opinion piece out there about it killing people, BS stats, and causing harm to countless others I’d shut up about it.

Friendly reminder, insurance carriers still aren’t asking if you were vaccinated as a qualifying question. Should tell you guys a lot, but apparently you are still intrigued by the idea it killed a bunch of people.
You dodged the point. Again, you called me a "great team player" because I wouldn't criticize Trump for something you, yourself won't criticize. Does this make any sense?

On your second point, you are welcome to prove I posted an opinion piece about it killing people. You can't because I have not posted one.

You have not. I've lumped you in with a couple others that post. You probably "liked" a few of them, so I lumped you in.

Got a little fired up this morning. This topic gets me going a little bit. Sorry for being a dick, I always enjoy our back and forth, and calling you a "great team player" was off base.

I am not sure 1000 deaths will kill his legacy. It was a worldwide pandemic and Dtrain has posted some compelling arguments it saved a ton of lives in the older, more frail community. I believe this to be a debate for when we have a clearer picture several years from now.

Thanks. I like a lot of posts, even some I mostly agree with, but not fully:)

I enjoy the information on here and the posters. The ones that remind me of tuning into MSNow, I usually block with the exception of Stoned. I like him for some unexplainable reason:ROFLMAO:

Dtrain and I seem to have a similar viewpoint on the vaccine. Helped some older people, by at least making them more comfortable. I tend to believe that it gave false confidence to some, and they ended up dying anyway when finally exposed. I know some people that locked down hard until the vaccine, and then got really sick when they finally got exposed.

Totally unnecessary for most. Pretty triggering topic for me. My son was born April 2020 so we had to deal with a lot of BS during the newborn and toddler years.

One of my best friends through work had COPD stage 4. I had hired his son(who is in a wheelchair) to be my right hand man in my organization. He turned out to be an absolute rockstar. He always wanted his kid to find a nice girl and have a family. Of course this is no easy task for a quad. Anyhow his son, Kevin finally finds a girl and gets married in Sept of Covid. During the speeches, I was sitting with his dad watching. When it was his turn, he went up and delivered the best speech I had ever seen him give. Everyone was crying. As it turns out, the bridesmaid that spoke before him that handed him the mic, had covid. He died two weeks later. Just an absolute tragedy.

Covid is a hard topic for many people.

I'm not against star actors, particularly if they stay non political. Was Glen Powell's biggest role in Top Gun Maverick? And was Michelle Yeoh's top role (among several) in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? I don't hear either of them quoted constantly by the media on politics.

The thing about movies is we get attached to certain actors/actresses and then they mouth off on politics and the media covers it as news.

My second point was that paying actors large salaries to do what other actors can do for much less is making much less sense in 2026. A third point, which is sadder, is that AI could have done the same thing as the Mandalorin (helmut, no personality) for much less. We are probably seeing the end of an era in LA.

LA is expensive. Lots of other places films are being made and much more cheaply. Georgia is one place getting more attention.

I’m placing this here despite the self-anointed forum president’s wishes.

This is fine. Tell us the truth. Hope his boss opens up a little bit, because he sat there and repeated some of the lies.

This is different than a lot of the stuff that is posted around here. The “you bent over for Biden” and “you got the shot for a free burger” stuff is not productive in any way.

The UK has 69 million people. The Arctic has 4 million spread across several countries. Strong argument for those that believe dense human populations make places warmer. Good stuff as usual.

I have been waiting for an update on the yak meat market.

I think that vax has damaged your brain beyond repair. Sad really.

You lack the ability to comprehend something as simple as weather. Why are you still living in drought ridden, Democrat infested Colorado? Oh yeah, you like your guy Polis and are a hypocrite on water.

You have a tendency to get caught up with who said it vs what was said.
I hope I do . That is called critical thinking . You on the right on the other hand are attracted to statements that confirm your beliefs even though the source is a nut job or some junk site like Amuse, X22, JFK, Jr or anyone hanging a stethoscope around their neck.

Automatically dismissing information just because of its source is not critical thinking. That’s a common error known as the genetic fallacy (judging an idea by its origin rather than its content) or a form of ad hominem reasoning.

Some E Jean analysis from Bill O, so Stoney won't want to read this as he use ad hominem reasoning to draw his conclusions ;)

A story that really disturbs me is E. Jean Carroll allegation that turned into a fiasco in New York City, where justice is not really in play on any level, okay. So you'll remember that a jury civil case May 9th, 2023, found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming a woman named E. Jean Carroll. And they awarded Ms. Carroll, the jury did, $5 million, you remember all that, okay. And that's what got George Stephanopoulos in trouble and a whole bunch of others when they called Trump a rapist, all right, and they had to pay Trump for doing that. So, from the very beginning, E. Jean Carroll, I just did this on my own. I didn't have any help, nobody paid my bills, I was just outraged. I'm not gonna go through the case, but if you read the case, it's absurd. Oh, this is insane. I mean, I know Trump, and I know the world that E. Jean Carroll Inhabits, and I knew exactly what happened there. Anyway, it turns out that E. Jean Carroll did not tell the truth about that. That she had help to the tune of $7 million. And the guy who gave her this $7 million is named Reid Hoffman, who admits he gave her $7 million to sue Trump. Roll him.

"So, you know, it is a standard practice that happens a lot where there's outside funding of lawsuits. We didn't encourage the lawsuit to happen. We only got on board after she'd already filed it and was down on the road, so you're not trying to create something that isn't substantive real, that a person isn't really doing. My team looked at it and thought that her voice should be heard."

Okay, sure, how many other voices have you funded to the tune of $7 million dollars you crank. Now, this guy is the worst. He's not the worst, but he's in the top five. All right, so he admits that his political action committees funded E. Jean Carroll's false accusations in my opinion against Donald Trump, he admits it. All right. Ms. Carroll's own counsel now says yeah Ms. E. Jean has now a, this is great. Her recollection is refreshed. This is her lawyer, today. Oh yeah, recollections refreshed. Well, now the Justice Department's going after E. Jean Carroll. And they are investigating money laundering, obstruction, and conspiracy, not to mention perjury. I don't know if she said this in open court or not, but she's in trouble, and she should be. And this is taking place in northern Illinois, the U.S. Attorney there. Now I'm following this day by day. If this woman gets away with this, we're telling the whole world, oh no, I don't have any money coming in. Nobody helped me. And now, and it's more than $7 million, I mean, you say it's $7 million. You know, it's more. Pick up the tab. Awful. Okay, when your liberal friends and the rapist stuff, just remember what I just told you. Doesn't get worse than this. To make up stuff, because I believe it was made up. Could be wrong, wasn't there. But I know the whole environment here. And then an outside agitator, far left group, funds it. And nobody knows it. She denies it. She get away with that. Boy.

UK - 750 people per square mile
Canada - 12.4 people per square mile

You keep feeding the other side of your 1 man argument. Thank you, patriot! Critical thinking is not a strength around here.
