The same thing was said for the Gateway/Bookstore, The Yard, the Honors College, etc, etc. Stop bitching and enjoy this spectacular moment.

I am grateful that there is now some appreciation for TheYard, The honors College and Gateway......I think this is a just a underwhelming rendering

Sorry I'm not giving them a pass on this one sorry. Looks like just another building built on Livingston Campus back in the 70's. I believe Antonio Calcado, Senior VP for University Facilities was the decision maker on this one and he got it soooo wrong. Not when our resources are from the most innovative city in the world.

and not when the other school looking to get established in the Big Ten (Maryland) goes big with their new sports training facility.

Neither one looks all that great, or terrible, to me and the Maryland design is the worst of all with all that lumpy assymetry which is likely not going to look good not too many years from now.

Minimalism has been a dead end for western architecture.
