He honestly looks tall, was worried he would be like 6’7 but he looks a good 4 inches taller than Cam Spencer and he is 6’4 himself

Funny I thought the exact opposite, Spencer is listed at 6'4" which means he is likely 6'2"/3"....which puts Woolfolk at 6'7"/8"....nonetheless he looks strong, hopefully has the strength to hold his own in the paint. I'm still hopeful if he is coming in this strong as a freshman, he can develop into a real asset in a couple years for us. And in the short term (provided Cliff and Dean are healthy)....we only need about 1 minute a game from him at the 5. Looks like he might be able to do it.

The kid definitely has something to offer. Great movement, very nimble for a guy his size, and really showed me something with going to his left hand. Always liked him but even more so now. Could be a real sleeper for us.

Pike has been an outstanding evaluator of under-recruited guys, so I believe he may have found another diamond in the rough. Very excited for all three newcomers plus our returning players.

I know it's high school video and all, but he looks really fluid in his movement to the basket not stiff at all, which you often see with young big men.

Woolfolk body looks much better already. No more football so he probably is slimming down and working on being more athletic and explosive.

He's got some good ball skills and touch around the rim. Good passer. Hopeful he is yet another Pike under recruited gem that the star fan boys hated

I love that Coach mentioned in his video that Antwone is a great student. I take tremendous pride in our student athletes doing well academically, but I think it also speaks well of the character of the players and the team which ultimately helps on the court as well.

You would think he was a post player/center in high school.
If he stretches to 6-7 with good timing and strength, he can do it here.

I don't think you can compare the two. Woolfolk is an interior player while Mag is more of a perimeter player.
I think it's premature to say what Woolfolk will bring. What he had to do in HS for his team may be different from what he develops into at Rutgers. We have no idea about his shooting ability because in HS he was probably not asked to do that on the perimeter.

Woolfolk was an interior power player. Mag is an extremely bouncey perimeter player. They aren't comparable at all
We only know the Woolfolk that was a 6'8, 260 pound football/basketball player, so yes, he was a power player in High School. That could change with his new body...not saying it will change but he can certainly add more to his game with the weight loss.

You new here?

I know you're not new here. Wait until training camp then we can all start drooling at shirtless teenagers.
To be fair, some of us in this thread were discussing the HS tape we saw previously. And now it appears the team is on campus working out, so maybe we'll get some better reports on the new guys.
