I didn't read but I am assuming they will still hold onto the principle of not having teams from the same conference play each other until the sweet 16 when possible. The S curve would allow them to make sure they are able to rank the teams 1-68 and simply let a computer program plug it into a schedule and then tweak things to account for the conferences.

That’s pretty much it. The Ivy League is not playing this year so that means there will be 37 at large bids this year instead of 36.
