The Ivy League is not playing this year so that means there will be 37 at large bids this year instead of 36.I didn't read but I am assuming they will still hold onto the principle of not having teams from the same conference play each other until the sweet 16 when possible. The S curve would allow them to make sure they are able to rank the teams 1-68 and simply let a computer program plug it into a schedule and then tweak things to account for the conferences.
