Stricklin insinuated that a new Adidas deal is on the way on Bo Bounds. Said it would be one of the biggest shoe deals in the conference.

I asked him about it on Twitter last week. He said it would be "way better" than Ole Miss's new Nike deal.

Interesting. That would put us up there with Alabama and LSU if we're in the $5Million+ range, correct?
As of last week on Head to Head interview that Dick Cross did w/ Bjork it didnt sound like there is a new deal, he said they had approached Nike about re-negotiating it. Not sure how Strick can say it will be better if theres not a deal done. Bjork said they were negotiating for more wearables and not just $$$ so its hard to compare $$ values unless you know the value in cash and value in clothing and equipment.
Adidas probably doesn't want to lose another SEC school (believe they recently lost TN). Maybe sweetening the pot to keep us happy since I believe MSU and TA&M are the lone 2 SEC schools they have now.
One of UA's suits is a former OM football player. Not sure they'd ever want us or we'd ever want them.
Walker jones at one time was head if UA college division so that rumor was true. Not sure what he is doing now but walker helped sign USCE and AU to UA contracts
