Yeah he was a bright spot on a 7 win team. Which isnt saying much. Bryce will take his spot next year

Are you taking about that first sequence where McGowin got ran over? They did call a foul on GaTech, but NU got a technical foul when Mayen was “forcefully” trying to untangle the two.
Jon Crispin cannot shut up regardless of what's happening on the court. He could blather on for 10 minutes about a ball boy wiping sweat off the floor.
They lost to Georgia State and Stetson to open the season. They did beat Kentucky, who is currently 1-3.

I’ve muddled through many tough to watch Nebrasketball games over the years but nothing makes me want to turn off a game more than when Crispen is an announcer.

It is reassuring to know that we finally have a coach that I trust to make some halftime adjustments that will work. Normally Id want to shut the game off with how sloppy they are playing but with Fred coaching Im excited to see what changes they make in the 2nsmd half.
Cut an 8 point deficit down to 2 at half. Had 3 chances to tie it, but missed an open 12 footer then turned it over twice.

The shooter never follows his shot. Launch the 3 then back peddle like you are in the NBA.
From what I have seen, Webster should be starting and handling the ball at point. Banton should not shoot 3's except from specific predetermined spots on the floor. Allen needs to pass the ball out to the perimeter when he has 3-4 guys collapse on him in the paint. Team as a whole needs to make a little extra effort to pass the ball to the wide open corner guy.
Damn good start to the 2nd half. 38-34 NU at the first break, after a GT shot clock violation. NU taking it to the basket so far in the 2nd half.
