Not sure why ND hasn't been better this year. They lose Grant but still have Vasturiois, jackson and colson
Terrible assessment. He has 30+ points, hustles, is NOT slow. He's not super quick and plays a little out of control at times but I would take him 100/100 times over Briscoe or Matthews
So again I'll turn it on some of our fans bc they post this nonsense about Cal ..."how much would Izzo win if he had coach K's talent"
Yeah could care less how that reflects on UK as far as a good win. I want Duke and UL to lose every game by 100
You haven't been him watching closely enough. He was in a shooting slump early in the year, an does have some defensive problems due to relatively slow feet, but at everything else he's damn good and has been rapidly improving and developing into a fine player. Today he went for 30 pts and 8 rebounds on 66 percent shooting--pretty damn impressive day. He's gonna be really good there after he gets a year or two of experience.
Not sure how well he would've fit in here, though. He's the style of player that tends to have problems playing defense and getting his shots in Cal's system. He probably made a smart choice, at least basketball-wise, by turning us down.

At this point there's no timetable for his return. If he's back, I don't expect it to be until one month from now at the very earliest. If he's not fully ready to come back, I personally hope he'd be open to applying for a medical redshirt and trying to come back for next year.
I'd call Kennard crafty and/or deceptive. No, he's not super quick and yes, he plays a little out of control and his defense definitely needs work, but he can really shoot it and finds ways to penetrate.
Have to agree at this point. Any team with a decent big man can tear this Duke team apart, especially minus Jefferson.
I think they'll beat Syracuse on Monday. I'll say they should beat NC State, but that's at NC State and they have a good big in Abu as well as Barber, who I expect will cause all sorts of issues like Jackson did today. At Miami... well, I have no confidence there.
Correct. And out for the foreseeable future. I'd say one more month is the best case scenario.
He blocked out the way Duke blocked out all day long. They didn't.
last year's team was able to figure out how to win grinding games down the stretch when they were close.......this year, not so much....need jefferson back to see if he can show them some grit.....we shall see....
