Every time I watch Duke play I'm so glad we did not get kennard. Completely one-dimensional. Very slow, weak, and plays absolutely no defense. Also does not appear to be a very good passer
You haven't been him watching closely enough. He was in a shooting slump early in the year, an does have some defensive problems due to relatively slow feet, but at everything else he's damn good and has been rapidly improving and developing into a fine player. Today he went for 30 pts and 8 rebounds on 66 percent shooting--pretty damn impressive day. He's gonna be
really good there after he gets a year or two of experience.
Not sure how well he would've fit in here, though. He's the style of player that tends to have problems playing defense and getting his shots in Cal's system. He probably made a smart choice, at least basketball-wise, by turning us down.
