My boss stops by my office for 1 minute and I miss the takedown and pin. Dangit lol
One of the things I've noticed about top guys is that they adapt really well to their opponents. They suss out their weaknesses and figure out what attacks will work. Mid level guys (most of ours) pretty much work to set up the same things in every match - tie-up, set-up, shot.

Did y’all just erase Plotts and Surbers big 12 tournament performances from your minds?
Where are all these experts that show up now all season? Does it make you feel better to be so negative? Give it a rest please….
Surber has improved, you're right. I guess I just expect a recruit like Plott to be a Big 12 Champion in his second year? Maybe I'm being too harsh out of frustration?
This is how far the program has fallen we are just hoping to get a title in the next 5 years and that would put us at 1 in the last 20 years.

Wow G with the 1st period pin over Abas!
G pinned Abas who beat him badly in the beginning of the year. Big win for G. He still has a chance to finish his career as an All American.
Now 4 bonus point wins. And LOL at those who think no wrestler has improved this year.

Michigan put their 157-197 in the Big10 finals. Now they have their 157-174 in the NCAA semis, with Amine still set to wrestle at 184. That's called the Alex Dieringer effect.
Also helps when it's your 7th year of wrestling in college vs your 2nd year. I'll be so glad when all these 25+ year old wrestlers are gone.
but that doesn't count as improvement! Make sure we get that straight for the negative nellies
