NCAA TOURNEY THREAD- 3-22

[TortElvisII]

I just want to remind everyone that in early March Indiana at 500 was being tossed about as a bubble team because the Big ten was so strong. I want you to think about that tonight.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

LSU.................like Iowa plays zero defense.

[CondorCat]

Great start by LSU. If they had a defense, they'd have a chance to win this game...

[TortElvisII]

LSU.................like Iowa plays zero defense.

I watched Iowa today and I have never seen a power 5 team that played less defense. It was pathetic.

[mcwildcats04]

LSU takes the dumbest shots. Just so out of control on the offensive end. And terrible at half-court defense.

[EliteBlue]

When the refs are calling flop warnings on attempts to draw a charge with real
Contact.....you know they are trying to keep the Big 10 alive

last 5 min have been atrocious

Agreed man they are letting michigan push shove and hold but ticky tack cxalls on lsu

It was rough. Hopefully they let the teams decide the second half

I was telling my wife how good the game was being called then boom vegas paged the ref buzzers.

[NavyCat88]

LSU is gonna run Michigan ragged if things continue on.
LSU 51-UM 45 with 16:09 to go in the 2nd.

[Crawfords Corner]

What a boneheaded pass. Up 6, chance to go up 8, and you pass it behind you between your legs. Stupid af

[zannmann]

I haven't been watching the men's games just keeping track on ESPN. Man, I wish they would stop trying to cram women's basketball down my throat. It is all over the front page even above the men's tourney. I know CBS carries the men's tourney and ESPN carries the women, but I just don't like being force fed something most don't care about.

[TortElvisII]

I kind of appreciate the games on Monday but I would rather go Thursday through Sunday. Wonder if they want to switch to Friday Monday now

This weekend you'll be able to watch every sweet 16 game without competition from the other sweet 16 game.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

So people say weaker conferences don't prepare teams for the tournament.

Is the media going to try and flip this and say well the Big Ten was just a battle night in and night out. It clearly wore these teams out lol.

Yeah I kinda like the first weekend being Thursday-Sunday like it always is.

The following weekend tho Sat-Tues kinda makes sense. You got more games on Sat-Sun when they can spread them out and the Elite 8 games on the weekdays when you need less time to spread it out.

That might work going forward.

[BlueVelvetFog]

In before the lock

That aged poorly

51-51 with 14:26 to go

[gojvc]

If they had a clue what a good shot is they would be very difficult to beat.

[rick64]

Michigan already 6 fouls in the 2nd half.

[king of cali]

Agreed man they are letting michigan push shove and hold but ticky tack cxalls on lsu

6-1 in foul calls this half and you think they’re favoring Michigan lol?

[Crawfords Corner]

That bad pass changed the momentum

[Bobio]

My buddy texted me saying that Michigan's pg looks like a dwarf with his body, short arms and bowed legs, not to mention his ridiculous broccoli crown hairstyle that is so popular these days and now everytime I watch him run, I can't stop cracking up.

[Blue Wildcat]

Some of these women can flat out play. With that said, most end up falling down on the floor more than Archie Goodwin. Dude had a mean fall after the drive game!

[MakinMusic_rivals]

Take some crazy bad shots. Fortunately for them they’ve hit many of them tonight.

[kennyskywalker34]

Terrible coached team. Got as much talent as anyone. Take bad shots and don't play defense.

[TNCatfanforever]

What a fun game to watch. Two teams playing offense and getting up and down the floor

[MidseasonTweak]

LSU is a team I could see beating Gonzaga

[ukfan041]

Cam Thomas is a player. I love shooters

[Bigblueamyou]

i want every big 10 team to get beat so the talking heads can go suck it,even though LSU is a bunch of cheaters.

[Doc4UK!]

Much quicker than UK this year!

[EliteBlue]

Football....that’s a real
Thing. Basketball
It is not.

[CondorCat]

Back and forth offensive fest...

[JasonS.]

Javonte Smart’s got that Mark Stoops’ hairline.

I totally agree with this.

[rick64]

Love seeing the Little 10 struggle. But I just can’t cheer for the Cheating Will Wades.

[Crawfords Corner]

Here comes the refs FFS

[NavyCat88]

LSU creates havoc, but they're out of position on D about every other possession. Believe Gonzaga would get open shots and make them.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

Yeah. For my bracket purposes it's good if Michgan losses...........but yeah I cant actively root for a team coached by Wade lol

[Schwagg]

6 consecutive fouls called on LSU. Rampant cheating by the refs. Despicable.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

I can't imagine LSU beating Gonzaga.

I mean Oklahoma has a decent defense and Gonzaga put up what 87 on them.

LSU has a defense ranked 123rd. They would get beaten down.
