I think that’d be a fair rule, if you can’t be in the upper half of your conference, go home.Lil 10 overrated again. They need to stop letting teams with losing conference records in the big dance.
Feels like, I think it was 2017, that had so many upsets. So much for a chalk tournament. Kind of unbelievable

I don’t. I hate that the NCAA does that. Second round is more ok but I hate the instate first round matchups.Love these in state wars.
Let's go Baylor!!! Usually love rooting for the underdog but that won't happen here.Next up, Baylor vs Whiskey.
My joke thread about Loyola beating UK is getting some Mr obvious type post on it. I didn't mean to go catfishing.
I think we would have played better D on them than IL, they don’t shoot the 3 great which was our main problem on D. But I don’t think we would have out scored them, depends on the day, if it was one of our 4 good shooting days we run them, otherwise we probably lose by 1 on a missed buzzer beater. My joke thread about Loyola beating UK is getting some Mr obvious type post on it. 1/2 of my final 4 gone, The Big 10 sucks. Overhyped and I fell for it.
Yeah, if we had one the games where we made like 14 threes.“We run them” lol
Is it just me, or does it seem like college basketball is getting into an era where talent is SO spread out, that were not likely to see just a handful of teams just dominate.. the way we did withKansas, Duke, UNC?
Fixed it for you.

Idk if thats because of UK being down, COVID taking a year off and/or all the upsets this year.. but it feels like we're in some kind of transition.
Even with a short wingspan and vertical reach?!What we are seeing is it does not take NBA talent to win in college. Skills defeat athleticism.
Dude I just watched Paul Blart Mall cop destroy Illinois.Even with a short wingspan and vertical reach?!![]()
Loyola, UIC is a completely different school. The only stat that Illinois has performed better in on the boxscore is UIC is 1-3 from the line and IU is 1-2 from the foul line

I've felt this way. The great HS players are going to go right to the G League. UK will still eat first but the talent gap between the bluebloods and the rest will be smaller.
Yep. And I wonder if it goes deeper.. more programs get more exposure in the internet age.. you don't NEED to go to a top 5 program with more power to the players in 2021, and less with the programs and coaches.
We haven't eat first the last six seasons.Cal has really been missing on his top targets.I've felt this way. The great HS players are going to go right to the G League. UK will still eat first but the talent gap between the bluebloods and the rest will be smaller.
It’s like being a #1 seedWow Baylor has 5 players that shoot > 40% from 3. Wonder what that’s like?![]()
