So do a few Big12 teams that can’t even win 20 games and lose 13-15 games actually get into this year’s tourney. What has happened to this tourney? Outside of Big12 homers like Eers does anyone see the Big12 as so much better than the other 3 big boy conferences that average teams like Baylor, Texas and Oklahoma deserve a NCAA bid. I watch a ton of college hoops. Those teams aren’t NCAAs quality IMO.
Even TCU is a joke really. They played 16-20 real games and lost 11 or 12 games. How good are they really? That team finished 5th in the Big12 and had a losing conference record this year. They went 9-10 in the Big12 as the 5th best team. So is this Conference the meat grinder that the homers claim. Or is it overrated. If there aren’t 4 or 5 Sweet16 teams it’s massively overrated. If there are 4 or 5 teams in Sweet16 then an argument can definately be made that the Conference is a meat grinder and those teams deserved a bid.
