I mean, it would never work or be allowed.. but how cool would it be if Booker challenged Dame and Portland to a 1-game winner-takes-8th game. Make it a TV event, players put in money for charity. Sponsor it.

That would be kind of cool If Booker calls out 8 seeds and play an extra games.

Pretty disappointing seeding round for the Mavs. I'm especially disappointed in the role players. I thought the Mavs had some pretty good complementary pieces to Luka/Porzingis coming in. The never really seemed to recover from blowing that first game to the Rockets in OT. They may get one game tops against the Clippers. But it will be Luka's first trip to the playoffs, so it's a start at least.

Go Brooklyn! I want to see the great Murray State point guards go against each other with Morant and Cam Payne. Very impressed with the Suns and Monty as HC. Fine job by them.

Portland looked like they were easing away from the Nets in the 3rd but Brooklyn has fought back to lead.

Lets be honest.. Portlands schedule had a lot of great teams.. but they were teams basically coasting towards the playoffs.. Houston, no Gordon, coasted. LAC, no Kawhi. Denver, no Murray. Sixers the other day, injured. Even tho the East is locked in.. this feels like a game Brooklyn wants to play spoiler.

Said it the other day.. the hardest schedules were the ones against teams fighting for the playoffs..

Wow. I hate see Booker go home. But, Lillard was just unreal. He is the MVP of the seeding round, so I change my vote on that. I'll take tomorrow off and watch the play-in on Saturday. I doubt Memphis has much of a shot, but you never know.

Brooklyn was betting on the hottest three point shooter in the bubble (Gary Trent Jr.), a top 15 scorer of all time (Carmelo Anthony), or a proven 20 PPG scorer (CJ McCollum) shooting wide open corner threes instead of a Dame Lillard 35 footer, and it was probably the right strategy. Just an insane level of shot-making ability and 154 points over Lillard's last three games. Pat Beverley and Morris Bro woke up the monster.

I don't see Dame slowing down. If his team loses, it won't be cause of him. But I am very eager to see how Portland does against LA and beyond (they aren't losing two to Memphis). While Portland got total effort from Brooklyn.. the Nets still seemingly laid down at the end (who is quite decimated anyways). Everyone from here on out is now playing for their life.. not just Portland.

I do think they have a GREAT shot at LA, though.. who just seems to be out of sorts.

All-Bubble Team - Seeding Games

Bubble Boy (MVP) - Harden
Booker
Lillard
Doncic
TJ Warren

I know there is no Center. But if Houston doesn't need one, neither do I.
The official all-bubble team will be two guards, two forwards, and a center

So I go
Lillard MVP
Booker
Warren
Giannis
Nurkic

Heat v. Pacers will be good. Celtics v. Sixers would be good if the Sixers were healthy. Lotta fun matchups in the west.

Sixers looked really good against the Rockets tonight.

I dont think the Rockets have yet to play with their top3 guys together since March. Harden played 27 minutes. But Simmons didnt play either.

The biggest takeaway from a game like this is that the Rockets might have the worst roster in the NBA after it's top2 guys. Not only is it a weak supporting cast. But its also concentrated to small ball. Its one thing to play a "gimmicky" offense when you have Harden and Westbrook.. its another thing to do it with Austin Rivers, Daniel House, and PJ Tucker. I saw a stat wherw without harden and westbrook, the rockets offensive officiency was in the 50s or something. Awful.

Yea it’s pretty bad you just gotta understand that was the first time I’ve seen the sixers play competent basketball in like a year so I got excited. It’s like they shut off their brains after Kawhi hit that shot last season. I can’t really explain it.

so Monday:

1. Nuggets (lets go Murray)
2. Raptors (live in NYC, hate all NYC teams!)
3. 76ers (just for mr. @ryanbruner )
4. Mavs (Let's go Doncic Show!)

Teams I am cheering for! (not teams i think will win)

Complains about being a spot up baseline 3 point shooter.

Shoots a spot up baseline 3 point in his first play of play-in game.
That’s all he can hope for as far as a future in the league . Funny thing is Kentucky basically prepared him for what NBA scouts would have always seen him for .

with his capability, it's always about getting one skill (that works) at a time.

a stretch four that can defend will always have a place in NBA. Butttt he wanted to be KD. LOL, dumbass.

That has to be the hardest thing about recruiting so many guys that are 5 stars or hell even 4 stars . They have unrealistic expectations .
