TJ Warren man... Dude is on an insane hot streak right now but he has always been a bucket getter.

Big game for Jamal Murray in his return today and hopefully Book can keep the Suns alive for a possible playoff spot.

Now a nice chance to watch the best two international players in the world, Giannis and Luka

Especially with TJ Warren on him. Warren is a great offensive player but couldn't guard a chair plastered in cement. So of all the options, jacking up a 3 and not making him defend is choice, 2/3 times?
Davis really needs to play the 5, but he doesn't want to for some reason. McGee and Howard clog the lane and Davis is only an average shooter. Nobody can match his quickness and athleticism at the 5, and it would allow more spacing around him and LeBron.

Just a joke man. Im a lakers fan.

Lakers have nothing to play for and look to avoid clippers or nuggets til wcf.

Nba should have seeded 1 through 16 imo with no home court advantage.
It’s just annoying man my bad I didn’t know you were joking. I made the thread hoping to take our minds off of t he political stuff and just talk basketball and some others just won’t let it be.

Dont forget.. there's speculation that a few of Portlands opponents, have basically thrown the game to get them into the 8 spot so to take out LA. Doesnt neccesarily mean they are playing as well as people think.

Their win against houston was kinda BS, too.

..but the Suns.. playing as well as anyone. I think they can do it. Portland is being a bit overblown.
You think Portland is overblown as in they aren’t good? Idk man I think they’re pretty good and they did make the WCFs last year they just were hurt this year.

It makes me feel better about him dropping the sixers off lol

He doesn’t want to bang down low and for him he probably shouldn’t be. Plus I think if you aren’t using him around the perimeter handling the ball and shooting you aren’t using him right.

I do still think they are a solid team.. but I also think they are playing for their lives while a lot of other teams ahead of them are just looking towards the playoffs.

Nick Wright nailed it.. he said like a week ago that LAC was going to rest their guys against Portland.. 1. Because LAC are locked into the playoff spot and 2. Portland winning helps position them against the reeling Lakers .

Sure enough, Kawhi was rested.. but LAC still won heh. Backfired.

Well the Sixers play them today and the 4-5-6 in the east are all separated by 1/2 a game so they aren't going to be given this game today either. I always thought a healthy Portland would secure the 8 seed anyways.

Houston hasn’t lost in the first round in awhile so this is weird .

Yeah I was just gonna let that go, I did goad him with my Lakers post. But yeah, Houston is just as much of a threat to win this. I'd be surprised if they go home in the 1st round. They're 3-1 in the bubble without Eric Gordon and Westbrook for 2 games.

@ryanbruner RIP Sixers

haha sorry.

EDIT: didn't know Embiid got injured. That sucks
He’s fine but they’re beating the blazers right now without anyone really. Such a weird team. Portland is on their last life and need to win and the Sixers haven’t looks decent in the bubble and all of a sudden Embiid and Ben go down and they strap up and play.

Ugh.. kind of annoying how with a. Fewer teams, b. All day games, and c. No option for fan attendance.. that the NBA couldnt figure out how to put every game on TV.

Don't want to jinx it.. but.

- Erasing an ugly 1st quarter.
- Shooting 35% from the 3 on 32 attempts
- Harden NOT in foul trouble for what feels like the first time in the Bubble..

.. means bad news bears for Fox and Sacramento.

Possible since there is a play in game . They definitely needed Philly to hold off Portland .

Gotta wonder what Phoenix record would be had Ayton not gotten suspended .
Hard to hold off Portland with Dame doing what he did and Embiid and Simmons out but I was happy to see Burks/Richardson/Horford ball out.

I really would have liked to seen the Rockets get into the 2 or 3-spot, as to avoid a Portland or LA 2nd round game. Portland matches up very well with us, and I never like playing against the NBA's best player and poster child.

But they might be able to steal Denver's spot, who has LA, LA and Toronto left. The unfortunate problem is none of those teams will be playing for ****. I almost think in the bubble, it was better to play the top4 or 5 teams than it was to play teams like Portland and Phoenix fighting for their lives.

Yeah Dame went off . Probably still angry from yesterday against the Clips . When he is in the zone it is scary.

Hopefully Embiid will be fine .
Yea that’s what I was thinking lol that dude is still pissed that PG and Beverly went in on him about missing those free throws lol. Both of those dudes are idiots and haven’t had nearly as much success as Dame. Dame carried them to the WCFs. Have either of those dudes even been past the second round? Anyways yea I hope Embiid is okay but it’s the sixers so no one knows lol.

Man, it seems like the Suns just need like 100 more feet of run-way. Give each team one or two more games and the Suns make it to the play-in. But sadly. I think they fall short. Memphis and portland really just need to win one more.

memphis only has to win one game...they have advantage of series win over the Suns, plus they will have played more games.. :(

Suns 9.5 point favorites today over 76ers without Simmons and Embid.
And Richardson. Probably no Tobias Harris or Al Horford either. Sixers have to keep losing so the thunder pick conveys so they can use that to trade Horford to the Kings for Buddy.

It will be interesting to see if the Mavs play Luka and/or Porzingis against the Blazers today. Neither of them played in the last game.

The lakers haven't been in the playoffs much lately so my memory is hazy. Lol edit. I was thinking of thunder and westbrook apparently.

Rockets do scare me but honestly everyone does. Lakers just dont strike me as a champ but I hope to be wrong.
