Most of the population doesn't have the opportunity to be on TV. Most of the population doesn't have the opportunity to make millions of dollars. Most of the population doesn't have the kind of national identity or platform for their message to get out unless they manage to go viral for a day on social media. So what's your point with that part of the statement?
This is the problem. You spelled it out.
You saying we should listen to people wealth and status because they have wealth and status.
But, then the same are be quick to jump on these prominents that have a different view.... see Goya

Its amazing Houston isnt down by like 17 right now. Portland is using its height advantage perfectly. Rebounds, tipped passes, running offense through the bigs. Russ having one of his stubborn type games.

Rockets just about tied the game while running what might be the worst nba lineup in the last 5 min.. no Westbrook, Harden or Gordon..

Didn’t see one so I wanted to post one for all of the NBA fans. It would be cool if we could get this started and talk everyday. Especially with the NBA bubble about to start.

I’ll go first. I’m a Sixers fan. Have been my whole life. Was born and raised in Kentucky but spent a portion of my childhood in Germantown and just fell in love with Philadelphia and their sports teams. I say it pretty often but as an NBA fan I’ve been through the absolute bottom of what a fandom experience can be like. From the Process to drafting Markelle Fultz and him developing nerve damage and the yips and forgetting how to play basketball to Ben Simmons refusing to shoot because he doesn’t want to. To last year with the only game winning buzzer beater in game 7 of playoffs history. Sixers fans have been through it all lol. I’d like to hear about who you all are fans of and maybe we can politely debate some NBA topics and for the older generation who may not care for the NBA anymore I’d love to hear old stories about former players too!
You mean the CCPNBA...no thanks!

Lakers miss what Avery Bradley brought to team defensively. Rondo too. I'll take them over JR Smith--who at least is in shape--and Dion Waiters who is a shot jacking blob of negativity.

People get jumped on no matter what their opinion is. The right does it to the left, the left does it to the right, etc.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, not reading the whole thread, but I read where the Lakers when they arrive to the arena they make all police turn their backs to them before they’ll get off the bus.

They need to GTFU. I’m sure queenie is the one that organized that.

No way this is true. ...is it? I mean, would anyone really be surprised, given the ridiculessness going on right now? I heard the Boston Bruins photos hopped a police logo off a t-shirt from a player pic.

I’m guessing CCPNBA is some ridiculous take of you trying to make a thread that isn’t political into a political conversation. I don’t care if anyone likes or dislikes the NBA. I couldn’t give 2 ***** less in fact. I like basketball and I like the NBA. I’ll let all of the sheep and mindless dweebs talk about their politics and bs.

If they win this game.. is Houston not the most impressive and dangerous team in the bubble? Keep in mind, while LAL doesnt have Lebron.. Houston doesnt have Westbrook or Gordon. Its literally Harden and Gordon Bombay's District 5 team..

I'm mainly asking @WildMoon hahah..

Sharpe and Skip were talking about the Fox/Ball showdown and how Fox has basically dominated ever since the 1st Kentucky loss to UCLA.

Dont forget.. there's speculation that a few of Portlands opponents, have basically thrown the game to get them into the 8 spot so to take out LA. Doesnt neccesarily mean they are playing as well as people think.

Their win against houston was kinda BS, too.

..but the Suns.. playing as well as anyone. I think they can do it. Portland is being a bit overblown.

We really just can't talk basketball can we? We just going to continue to make everything political? Theres a political thread for you to post this crap.

Just a joke man. Im a lakers fan.

Lakers have nothing to play for and look to avoid clippers or nuggets til wcf.

Nba should have seeded 1 through 16 imo with no home court advantage.

You guys kinda ****** up last night. Idk why you didnt try to beat Houston to force us back. Lakers had a chance to force us out of their side of the bracket. They rest Lebron, and now, LA might have to go through Portland, Houston, Clippers and Bucks (not factoring upsets). They should have tried to bury Houstons momentum.

Not to mention.. lakers chemistry is still nada.. and double the affect with the bubble.. not sure you guys can risk resting players.. not sure ANY team should be resting players. The title winner this year will be the team that's in the best rhythm .
