The Suns are so fun to watch. Would love to see them win it. Joker is amazing but he can’t do it all himself. He needs Murray to compete in this round.
Paul George has really regressed the last 3 games . Hopefully he can get out of this funk
Bucks favored tonight. I wouldn't touch that game with a 10-foot pole.
Good ole Playoff P
Somebody needs to sit down with Giannis and tell him any time he shoots a 3 he is killing his team because it's essentially a turnover. Combine that with his free throw escapades and that's a lot to overcome when you're playing a great team like the Nets.
Injuries that he’s sustained on such a large frame just made the odds to regain form too much.Cousins is toast. Too slow and has no lift. Gobert abused him. He’ll be out of the league soon.
when?Gobert abused him.
You’ve got a lot to learn about playing time in the NHL. Players play about a minute at a time normally. All teams have 3 lines that play all the time and they all have a 4th line that plays but not as much. 20 minutes for a player is a lot. Keep learning the game.Slightly OT:
I've had to listen to my Hockey friends give me **** the last few years about NBA players resting and how Hockey players would never do such a thing. Always thought it was ********, and attributed it to the fact that NBA players are taller, and the plodding motion of running is far more damaging than skating around on blades.
.. until I glanced at a few NHL Boxscores recently.. None of these guys (defensemen aside) are playing more than 20 minutes a game lol. I had no idea. Your starting 5 on a basketball team are all playing 30+ minutes, sometimes close to 40.
Say what you will about NBA players taking games off.. But they're playing almost double the time than most hockey players are.. and that matters night in and night out. No wonder NBA players are running into lower body issues.
(Note: I'm starting to like hockey. I play a good deal of NHL2k21 with my friends and am really starting to understand it better.. so not trying to hate, just trying to defend the NBA)
He blocked Cousins’ shot twice and caused Cousins to violate the shot clock once.when?
first off that shot clock violation was caused mostly by cousins. he always needs a posts move he can’t jump over you. his mistake was choosing to start over with 1 second left just to get two feet closer to the basket. gobert only needed to stand there. he didn’t go for a pump fake and that is good work, but cousins had the ball 8 feet from the basket in a bail out situation and could have shot it anytime along that route and chose to drive to the post. he worked himself into that turnover thinking he could get an easy shot at the rim in time and he was wrong. solid work by gobert but more of a risky move by cousins. He blocked Cousins’ shot twice and caused Cousins to violate the shot clock once.
If the Bucks are going to have any chance to win this series, it needs to get even uglier.Ugliest game I’ve witnessed in a long long time.

I like Boogie as much as anyone and root for him but for whatever the reason be it injury or diminishing skillset, he isn’t very effective and was clearly outmatched against Gobert. He was getting frustrated. Chauncey Billups had to pull him to the side and jump his case for being immature.first off that shot clock violation was caused mostly by cousins. he always needs a posts move he can’t jump over you. his mistake was choosing to start over with 1 second left just to get two feet closer to the basket. gobert only needed to stand there. he didn’t go for a pump fake and that is good work, but cousins had the ball 8 feet from the basket in a bail out situation and could have shot it anytime along that route and chose to drive to the post. he worked himself into that turnover thinking he could get an easy shot at the rim in time and he was wrong. solid work by gobert but more of a risky move by cousins.
looking at the blocks. he got one clean block. it forced a miss by about two inches. the other “block” ended with gobert wincing under the basket support and cousins securing what would have been a put back dunk. it’s hard to even see a block on the play to begin with. cousins shot it over him just long. in any event it’s hardly abuse. the most abusive play between the two was cousins robbing the ball in game one. you get my point. he’s being played sparingly but he’s more than held his own.
imo abuse were the refs calling cousins for anything every time he was about to do something. he gets called for things other players don’t. the whole game people were clearing space with their off hand and traveling. i don’t remember a travel or clear-out called on anyone else except him. he also got called for two other offensive foul/turnovers and i am trying to understand why the box score has him with only 1 turnover. point is if they let him be halfway physical he’s on his way to a way more efficient game. he got microscope eyes from the refs.

Boogie looks in much better shape and maybe is why he's finally getting some PT.
Pretty sure if Kawhi Leonard can't stop Donovan Mitchell then nobody can.
I'm seeing them both in the Top 5-10 NBA this year. Donovan being the newcomer and fresh coming back from injury. Kawhi back to his old ways.Nets might not be able to stop Mitchell.. but not sure it matters when no one can really stop their big3.
Kawhi is such an interesting player to me. Seems to be that really smart kid who refuses to fully apply himself, but can still get a 98 on the test. IDK what to make of him. At one point, we all thought he might be replace Lebron.. then during this year/last year, he kinda regressed back to being that guy who didn't seem to care.. and now he's realizing the NBA playoffs started and he's back to his Toronto-days.. very odd persona to see in professional sports.
