Reggie Perry comes in as.. what.. the 9th man? Goes 3 for 3 for 8 points. That's the added bonus of your team blowing out the opponent.. might have just found a little hidden gem.

when paul is healthy the suns look like the best team in the west. they get contributions from all positions consistently. bridges/ayton/crowder/booker/paul is just a good dynamic. ayton has been the key in the playoffs. he finishes plays and doesn’t make big mistakes or ask for the ball. just a little pick and roll here and there and he gets you 20 points.

the suns are smart as well. they let paul play balls to the wall in game 1’s and will probably rest him more until like game 6. it worked out last series and he came through like tonight. if booker can can lead in just a couple wins they could get to the finals.

I actually enjoy this type of scoring balance more than the one player scoring 49 scenario. Fun to watch.
Suns play like a college team. Enthusiasm and fun.
CP3 said as much in post game interview.
Guys that like each other, playing hard... having fun.

For you guys that know the game, Maxey is doing something I thought was crucial to his NBA development. He’s elevating on his midrange shots. I mean, he’s got some real and surprising bounce on it now.

With his lack of size, I thought he’d struggle with getting his shots off, but this could be a real game-changer for him with his quickness.

Paul George has really regressed the last 3 games . Hopefully he can get out of this funk

Slightly OT:

I've had to listen to my Hockey friends give me **** the last few years about NBA players resting and how Hockey players would never do such a thing. Always thought it was ********, and attributed it to the fact that NBA players are taller, and the plodding motion of running is far more damaging than skating around on blades.

.. until I glanced at a few NHL Boxscores recently.. None of these guys (defensemen aside) are playing more than 20 minutes a game lol. I had no idea. Your starting 5 on a basketball team are all playing 30+ minutes, sometimes close to 40.

Say what you will about NBA players taking games off.. But they're playing almost double the time than most hockey players are.. and that matters night in and night out. No wonder NBA players are running into lower body issues.

(Note: I'm starting to like hockey. I play a good deal of NHL2k21 with my friends and am really starting to understand it better.. so not trying to hate, just trying to defend the NBA)
