Down goes the Lakers. I figured the Lakers would get swept, OKC is just that much younger, better, and tougher.

OKC vs. SAS or Minnesota in the west
Knicks vs. Detroit or Cleveland in the east

Who ya got ?

I still have OKC & the Knicks in the Finals

But I have enjoyed watching the Twolves and Cavs, both of those teams I've liked watching the past few years. Knicks have been amazing coming on lately. OKC is defending.

I'm not entirely sure San Antonio will get past the Twolves, but I think it would be a much better series if they get past 'em. So I am sticking with the Spurs to get to the western conference finals in a much anticipated matchup with the defending champs.

As for the East, I still think Cleveland can get past Detroit. I've had the Knicks and Celeveland from the get go. Clearly though, the Knicks are looking strong to be favored to get to the finals.

I'd love to see the finals come down to OKC and the Knicks, personally. I dunno who I'd end up wanting to win that one, wow. That would be a great finals this year, I think.
Does Bron retire? If not how many more you think he has left?

That is the question, will he retire this year? isn't it?

I'm thinking somehow the Lakers thread the needle and get everybody back on like, a one year contract and LeBron opts to stay since the Lakers can offer as much as anyone else out there, but the lure to play yet another season with his son there will be what will bring him back for at least another year.

I know he isn't big on having a farewell tour kinda season at any time, it wasn't this season, and I still see other old school guys playing out there. Unless his sciatica and that nagging ankle injury makes playing too difficult & it becomes too much physically for him, he still can certainly be a huge contributor for anyone, but playing with Doncic & Reeves with him as a contributor ... still gives his team a punchers chance to pull out one more title? Maybe that too, the Lakers still seem to check a lot of boxes for him.

Yeah I'd give it a 70 - 30 percent chance he returns rather than opts to retire this next year. And he will probably stay with LA. If they can make it work out for everyone.

I'd even go out on a limb and say he's good for 2 more years, tops. But beyond 2 more at the max, I think he'd be better off spending time with family at that point.

He's done enough, already, legacy wise, to talk about infinitum.

It's continuing to be an interesting off season all around this year, both in college and Pro as well...

As a Lakers fan I am ready for LeBron and his goofy kid to move on. The Lakers aren't winning anything that matters again until they reboot the roster all together IMO. LeBron is 2nd best all time to me but its over.
