Absolutely. Eric Daniels was actually my first pick but had already been mentioned. Idk how the hell I forgot Fitch. Excellent choice. I'll name two centers: Magloire and Mohammed.
You could almost pick any player from Tubbys good teams and they could make this list. Outside of like Prince, bogans and .......?
Exactly what I was thinking lol maybe the whole Rondo class except Bradley. Camara also wouldn't fit said criteria IMO. Estill would fit the criteria.

Nazr Mohammed #1 for sure. He weighed like 400 lbs when he got here. Was on JV team with Mills, total project by Pitino.
Also, correct me if I am wrong, but Jeff Sheppard wasn't a burger boy or anything. I believe he was Mr. Basketball in Georgia but I don't think he was a Top 25-30 recruit.
Other than that, lots in the '90s and early 2000s.

**Now I've re-read another post and see OP looking for people who are "forgettable" but made a big splash; still sticking with Mohammed. He was a core of late '90'' and is often forgotten considering his achievements**

The whole 98 team does not get the credit they deserve, that team had balls and heart.

Sean Woods...I don’t think he gets the credit he deserved for leading the team in ‘92...If not for Laettner I believe we would be seeing the shot he hit to put us up against dUKe.
This was going to be my pick. Nothing flashy, but he was a great player that grabbed a ton of rebounds and just did a ton of the little things. Loved that guy.
My two favorites mentioned:
1. Jeff Sheppard. He was a 4-star out of HS, so not sure if that was unheralded. He was in the class after Delk, who was a top 5-ish guy, so he was a bit overshadowed at his position. He was a key player on both the 96 and 98 title teams. That's pretty impressive.
2. Nazr Mohammad was just a 3-star and worked his way to a first round pick and a very long and productive NBA career. He didn't contribute much to the 96 title, but was a huge part of the 98 title.

Hansen wins that award but Dale Brown, Derrick Miller, Allen Edwards and anyone named Hawkins also comes to mind.
