one thing about good qbs, good pitchers, good teams, good tennis players, etc, is the ablility to forget the last play and concentrate on the next.
North Rowan is a good team, they had 7 wins over some good teams, they were second in their conference I believe.
When Mt Airy had them 42 to 0 late 2nd qt, North Rowan scored on a very nice long pass play and stopped the running clock risk.
What did the Bears do, forgot that play and in 3 plays (I believe it was, not sure) they put the ball in Tyler Mason's hands and made the score 50 to 7 at the half.
They played the third and 4th quarters with 2nd and jv players with a running clock.
Buzzcoach has said several times that this years Bears team has gotten better through out the season. I also believe that.
North Rowan was/is a good team, Mt Airy was just a lot better last Thursday night. Hopefully that will continue.
