Lots of Dawgs on the scoring list. Swedenburg's average is low but his punt total is lowest. That sausage TON about our offense. We haven't even had to take many chances yet

I want to see his total numbers for punts inside the 20, he has been very good with that

One thing that jumps out at me from those first few tables. I can't remember when the last time was when the SEC had so many quality QBs as it does this year.

That was my first thought

as well. Driskel at #9 in the SEC still has a 140 rating. That's impressive.

avg 139yards/game... 18.5 attempts a game

I don't understand why teams are not loading the box and making him throw the ball
I guess they haven't played a good run defense, yet

Florida has a hell of a running game. They ran the ball 25 straight times on LSU's defense in the 2nd half and LSU still couldn't stop them.

Good stuff. A couple things I noticed...

1. If you had told me a couple months ago that Tyler Russell would reach the midpoint in the season with only 1 pick, I would have laughed. He has really matured
2. WTF is up with punters magically obtaining the ability to kick 60 yarders against only us? That KY guy bombed them all day against us while he's apparently only averaging 42 yds/punt, and then that UT MFer that soared one over JB's head on Sat night isn't even on the Top 10 list. Damn

Saw on twitter that we have allowed -4 (Yes, negative) punt return yards this season. We lead the nation in that category. So Baker may not be getting the extra 5 or 6 yards but he is keeping them from returning anything. I'd rather have no returns than the extra yardage.

This shows why McCarron's "Heisman Campaign" is such a joke. Look at his numbers. He's got 132 attempts through 6 games! He's averaging less than 200 yards a game. Bama doesn't need him to play lights out to win, and good for them. But anyone including him in the Heisman race is just idiotic.

I think Swedenberg is a very underrated punter. Last year we only gave up 119 punt return yards the entire season and I think a lot of that was on 1 big return.
