MAC Daddy Moorhead will face turning around a program that went 2-10 this season. I wish him all the luck in the world.
So what exactly was Moorhead's emergency medical procedure? Something cardiac related that required stent implantation?
I don't know. I couldn't find an article that mentioned anything specific concerning the surgery.

Very true. I can’t find a link but I really remember someone saying appendicitis. Whatever it was it was an acute issue bc he couldn’t travel home with the team I believe. Regardless, hope he is doing well and has success at Akron!
With Moorhead and all the rubbers, fans are bound to be tired. Still, 2022 should be a good year.

I dont understand this move at all. Can't be money right? Doesn't seem like a better path back to HC than he currently has.

I lived in Akron for 3 years. Used to visit the beautiful blacktop and cement Akron U campus every now and then. That was during the time the Akron U braintrust decided to hired the ND failure Jerry Faust and move up to Div. 1A. They had been fairly successful at the lower level, but it’s been pretty bad since that time.
Cristobal is waiting on that Miami job opening up. Moorhead might just be looking for some job security at this point, and the Zips are going to give him 4-5 years easy. If he starts winning, Akron has been historically bad enough to keep him for as long as he wants.
Now this makes more sense. Moorhead must have seen the Cristobal move coming.
