Very true. I can’t find a link but I really remember someone saying appendicitis. Whatever it was it was an acute issue bc he couldn’t travel home with the team I believe. Regardless, hope he is doing well and has success at Akron!

That was during the time the Akron U braintrust decided to hired the ND failure Jerry Faust and move up to Div. 1A. They had been fairly successful at the lower level, but it’s been pretty bad since that time.
