JK is a good coach just can't win the big games. MA has never had that many unsportsmanlike penalties in a game. But not bad to lose to the #2 team by 1 td

That was my thoughts on the loss and tonight I think Adkins needs to go. I may get over that after the thoughts of his stupidity goes away if it does. No control over the players and no self-control and no sideline control ! That's a lot to swallow ! ! !
I went to the east Surry game tonight. I was impressed with Lowman and his team. They were down two scores in 4th quarter and came back and won. You can't afford for the coach to lose composure
We will never know, but I think East Surry is 2 TD’s better than Mount Airy. I think early in the season it would have been a 50/50, but by the middle of October East Surry was 2 TD’s better.
I been saying for 4 years the MA job is too big for him. He is not the right coach for MA
But stm started the conference leading rusher at qb and ran the same offense as Mitchell.
MA too much talent at home should never lost that game. Holder would had his team prepared
No disrespect..but you MA guys are failing to give Mitchell their due credit. They came out..smashed MA in the mouth..set the tone..and they put just a lil fear in MA's crawl. JK and the players meltdown didn't help anything. Mitchell was the 1st team that wasn't afraid of MA..at all and it showed. MA players were arguing with each other over blown assignments and dumb untimely penalties. Mitchell definitely didn't need any help..but MA coaches and mouthy players gave them plenty...tbh. I'm not sure who MA's coach was the other 3 or 4 times that Mitchell beat them. On another note MA had terrible fan support for a team that good..plenty empty seats on the home side. That's just crazy.

Lowman by far is the best coach in the area..bordering on Legendary...I told people all year East Surry was the team to beat. No other team in this area no matter who the coach is..beats the last two teams ES did in the 2a playoffs. ES has been humble all year and just chugging alone..while everyone laughed, doubted, and questioned their 2a ranking. Now it's only befitting that #2 ES plays #1 Shelby next week. Coach Lowman should be coach of the year across the entire state...I also doubted how well they would do..when i saw the teams in their potential 3rd round match up (Monroe)...and defitely didnt see them beating Salisbury or Maiden..My Bad....

MA definitely had the athletes..the speed and big play advantage was evident...but the coaching...the grit...the Smashmouthedness..(yeah i made the word up..but hey it fits),the heart to win...and overall rabid fan support all belonged to Mitchell..

Yeh it’s fun , they can’t stand to be called out for the truth ! Mad at themselves for making themselves look so dumb on here bragging about being number one ranked just yesterday . An now tryin to discredit Mitchell for smacking them in the mouth .

MA just got beat by the #2 ranked team in the state by 7 points and you consider it a beat down. Lol. Could have easily been at 7 point win. CONGRATULATIONS to Mitchell on the win. You came down to Mayberry and did what you needed to win. Now take care of that thorn in your side SMC. And win state.

Mt airy scored what 2 tds that were called back but it was a beat down East Surry didn't beat us down this year they didn't want to play
I hate to say it...but i will say it again....East Surry would have beaten Mt.Airy especially late in the season. There shouldn't be any doubt about it now. Their offense is and was way more polished and their QB is D1 phenomenal...with a great line...and very good defense....with a waaaaay better coach...
