I have said that all along why he wasn't starter as a sophomore he led this team all season
I said that first of the week number 1 at qb mt airy wins but they are trying to season a new qb
Congrats Mitchell…#2 tough! tough ending for Bears….those were 2 fairly even teams…
Hard thing to predict he could've made a better QB with his speed and ability to elude tacklers or it was better to have him where he was getting it to him out in open space like those screens because I've seen QB's with his abilities still get helmed in the backfield. The one that played QB didn't have his running ability but he has a good arm.
Ok maybe but who knows might pay a buck or two more up 52 you know we stoled great coach from Surry Central in the late 90s
Congratulations to Mitchell I wish them the best I just hate when the referee makes s a big game about him and not the players and yes we need to schedule tougher but I believe we’re already locked in to next year schedule
Awesome game, I think we did have more fans or at least even. Great season Bears and I think they were by far better than anyone we have played to date. 1 is a player and as many have said the PFs were terrible. I think it come from not being pressured all year. GDTBAM

I'll say this I want Mt Airy to have a shot at Mitchell next year I want to keep playing them until we beat them it aggravates the hell out of me we scored 3 tds called back we will get them sooner or later
We scheduled Watauga and lake Norman this year. Statesville last spring. We play Erwin every year. I doubt Watauga or statesville would be afraid.
You can run up scores on these little teams around here and talk smack about how great you are but it will always show when you play somebody , so ma fans stop your whining , you never where that good

Two weeks ago they’re the best team ever - this week the coach has for sale signs in his yard. - tough crowd in Mayberry.
If you was at game and seen how our coach acted and how he allowed our players to lose control you would agree.

Well Mitchell is a talented team too. They’re in the mix every year. It’s tough loss for Mount Airy but Mitchell ain’t no slouch!
Mitchell didn't "schedule" Lake Norman this year...was a filler game because of covid
They have an undefeated JV team coming up, plus all the sophomores and JRs
Next year was supposed to be their big year and the next.
Those sideline penalties happened last week against starmount is this coach able to handle his kids there is no excuse for that if you are a member of a football team you do not do that if you ain't disciplined on the side lines you aren't discipline on the field and why in the hell we went down 14 to 0 that number 1 wasn't put in at Qb where he should have been all year long and have stayed there rest of the game
I asked what if it came down to coaching and it did. IMO our kids were better prepared and more disciplined. Mt Airys coached acted like he’d never been there before. Ours, I believe is one of the top 5 in the west.

I hope JK Adkins sees the handwriting on the wall and finds his way out of Mount Airy. I was for him and the sideline penalties last week and what 3 tonight and the players out of control. He is just not ready for a school with tradition. Maybe East Wilkes will have him back.
If a coach gets one to make a point when it doesn’t cost his team the opportunity to score that’s one thing, but he buried y’all. You lost field position so many times
JK...cost MA dearly..along with the fact...that players imploded as well...Mitchell was excellently poised..and rose above the dirty play and drive killing unsportsmanlike penalties...You could tell Mitchell had MA's #..and played just like MA has never beaten them before..
