Ooops.Gophers win easy.
Will be a great matchup in 2 weeks. We’ll find out then if the Iowa offense has truly turned the corner.

UCLA won @ Oregon yesterday by two points DESPITE Oregon turning it over SIX freakin' times! That game was horrible. Both teams looked like garbage. Penalties, mental mistakes, more turnovers than Pillsbury. It was one game, but wow, was it U-G-L-Y on both sides, just a little uglier by Oregon.UCLA is legit. Glad we don’t play them. So well coached now. Crazy what the right coach can do.
Speaking of which, I saw more than one punt returner using the EXACT same signal yesterday that DeJean did vs. Minny, yet no penalty was called, on the field or in the booth. Why not? How in the hell that review booth got away with that bullshitt is one I'll never figure out.The Cooper DeJean revenge tour continues in two weeks.
I was going to say something about this. Raiola had one of the worst games you'll ever see a QB have and still if Oregon doesn't turn it over 7 times they win that game.UCLA won @ Oregon yesterday by two points DESPITE Oregon turning it over SIX freakin' times! Very interesting.Speaking of which, I saw more than one punt returner using the EXACT same signal yesterday that DeJean did vs. Minny, yet no penalty was called, on the field or in the booth. Why not? How in the hell that review booth got away with that bullshitt is one I'll never figure out.
and I would not be shocked if they get him. surprised, maybe, but not shocked. I mean, would you leave southern California for the frozen tundra of PA?Psu fans wanted Chesney before campbell was hired...now they really want him,
That pic is really funny! Is it AI or where the heck did this happen?
Good call!
Nice call
Do ya'll not understand reverse psychology?Ooops.![]()
Watching Kirk's talk to team meetings prior to games on the cinematic recap videos he does not let overconfidence into the room or the equation. He just preaches practice, trying as hard as you can, learning, improving, and being prepared.I do not disagree, but I just hope our players/coaches do not become too overconfident over the events of this weekend.
Yeah, that was really bad and UCLA has to hate being beaten by Oregon so much over the last 20 years. Raiola was as bad as could be while he was very good in an earlier game against USC off the bench.UCLA won @ Oregon yesterday by two points DESPITE Oregon turning it over SIX freakin' times! That game’s offensive output was the final straw that led to BF’s firing, only positive that came out of that game.Speaking of which, I saw more than one punt returner using the EXACT same signal yesterday that DeJean did vs. Minny, yet no penalty was called, on the field or in the booth. Yeah, I just saw that - 10 PM CDT kickoff. LOL. I still think it's bullsh*t that the B1G and associated broadcast networks can do that to a school, but it's funny when it happens to Nebraska.Minn. don’t know what to make they looked so bad last night and vs Miss St. D played well vs Michigan and turnovers were difference in that game but now after Friday that UW win might not be as impressive as I thought it was.
Also I’ll eat crow I thought baby mahomes would do well at Oregon. Curious who starts at QB late Saturday night when his old school comes to town.
LSU loses? CheckIowa pisspounds Washington in Seattle? Check.
Iowa St Cyclones lose? Check.
Penn St Cyclones lose? Check.
Minnesota loses? Check.

7 times. They turned it over 7 times.UCLA won @ Oregon yesterday by two points DESPITE Oregon turning it over SIX freakin' times! That game was horrible. Both teams looked like garbage. Peacock!?!The worst part about this game is that Minnesota may have just changed our game against them from a likely NBC night game to 3 PM on Peacock....
Why Big Ten? Why? That's a media rights deal that needs to go away.Peacock!?!
this 100%. several previous instances of iowa losing composure after a big winI do not disagree, but I just hope our players/coaches do not become too overconfident over the events of this weekend.
Raiola is still a fat *** and the UCLA d line whipped the Oregon o line all day long. UCLA is pretty physical along both lines.Minn. don’t know what to make they looked so bad last night and vs Miss St. D played well vs Michigan and turnovers were difference in that game but now after Friday that UW win might not be as impressive as I thought it was.

Just a random gif I found on the internet. That pic is really funny! Is it AI or where the heck did this happen?
The colors were right too!Just a random gif I found on the internet.
And the AD wanted/had pressure to hire a P4 coach.Psu fans wanted Chesney before campbell was hired...now they really want him,
That time slot is exactly what the B1G wanted when it added the west coast 4. B1G on tv every moment of every SaturdayYeah, I just saw that - 10 PM CDT kickoff. LOL. I still think it's bullsh*t that the B1G and associated broadcast networks can do that to a school, but it's funny when it happens to Nebraska.
Peacock is awesome. Plus usually it’s also on NBC at the same time. Why Big Ten? Why? That's a media rights deal that needs to go away.
You're playing 4D chess while the rest of us are playing checkers!Do ya'll not understand reverse psychology?![]()
Kamari Moulton, and the rest of the RBs, seeing that ....Holy hell, Purdue rushed for over 300 yards and the Goophs ran for 27?! Even stranger the Goophs only ran 13 rushing plays in the entire game!
We should crush the rodents.
Peacock!?!
Why Big Ten? Why? That's a media rights deal that needs to go away.
Peacock exclusives are not high quality broadcasts. There are fewer cameras, fewer replays from fewer angles, and they use a C-tier broadcasting crew. Not to mention the inevitable lag issue that always pops up. I don't think they are any better than BTN and they sure aren't better than FS1.First, Peacock exclusives are high-quality broadcasts; essentially the same as main NBC broadcasts and certainly better than BTN and maybe even FS1. The only reason people gripe about it is because they don’t like paying for another streaming service and they don’t like their team getting gypped as far as viewership numbers Guess what? Major sports on streaming services is going to get more and more common.
Second, if Iowa-Penn St can be a Peacock broadcast, I wouldn’t say that Iowa-Minnesota is “above” it…
The main point of my post is that the Minny loss may have hurt the chances of our game being a network broadcast; we’ll find out tomorrow.
I think most of this is bullsh*t that you made up to make yourself feel better because you don't like the fact that games are on a streaming service that you don't want to pay for. You're saying that they bring fewer cameras to Big Ten games when the broadcast is Peacock? The lag issue is nothing I've ever experienced; I've only heard about it from a handful of people on this board who apparently have bad internet, And Paul Burmeister has called a bunch of Big Ten games on Peacock, including our games against both Indiana and Penn St last year, so spare me the "C-tier broadcasting crew" nonsense.Peacock exclusives are not high quality broadcasts. There are fewer cameras, fewer replays from fewer angles, and they use a C-tier broadcasting crew. Not to mention the inevitable lag issue that always pops up. I don't think they are any better than BTN and they sure aren't better than FS1.
And yes, i gripe because I am already paying for five streaming services. I'm not getting another just for one or two Iowa games a year. There's nothing else on Peacock worth the subscription.
