Kobe Brea might have something to say about that. I thought every shot he took was going inBest shooter at UK since Tony Delk
I think he’s an even better pure shooter than Delk.Best shooter at UK since Tony Delk
Mom is pretty crafty with that floater game too.I think he’s an even better pure shooter than Delk.
He ain’t nearly the all around player Delk was …because Delk was awesome on BOTH offense and defense …especially his senior year when he did everything right. Whereas Milan is far more one dimensional, but at that one dimension (shooting) he looks about as gifted as anyone we’ve had here.
Was he wide open all last year when he hit nearly 50% of his 3's?The cold blanket take. He was wide open a lot last night. I think that might have been Manhattan being not that good at trying to guard him. I can't imagine he'll be that open going forward. But he's the bomb! And pope has to do better job running stuff to get him open.

At Iowa State, Milan hit tons and tons of threes with defenders right in his face, step back, you name it.The cold blanket take. He was wide open a lot last night. You're key to why stricter moderating is needed on this site. Should be a community not a bridge for trolls to loiter in.He's key to whether or not we can go 40-0
If they focus heavily on him other lanes will open up, which yes, they'll have to convert to easier points. The cold blanket take. He was wide open a lot last night. Grady - 214 attempts - 41.51%Yes. I don't know if delk even shot over 40%. He was just a scoring machine overall. Much better shooters in modern times: lamb, Grady, brea all just top of my head.
Momcilovic though is the best yet imo. Shot selection is part of that but if he gets a clean look its almost guaranteed. His contested/desparation shots are the only reason he even has a chance of being below 50% which is crazy.
@Official_1Star_Recruit
Josh Hubbard should be much higher on that list.
Hope that guy stays in college for 20 More years!!!
Yeah Brea definitely was top 3 for sure. Good point.Kobe Brea might have something to say about that. I thought every shot he took was going in
And his fade away jumper is sweet as well. The dude can flat out shoot. I' m surprised when his shot doesn't go down.Mom is pretty crafty with that floater game too.
Yup we are struggling some at the 4 right now. Hopefully we get that going with Kansas coming up.Our perimeter is developing well. We have 2 solid players, Wilkins and Williams, and 1 absolute star, Milan. Hawthorne shows flashes, especially on defense, of being a force. Zoom needs to find his niche on this team yet. Kam and Morton still are recovering and should solidify the perimeter once healthy.
I'm most concerned about the 4 position right now.
Bingo Delk was all around great not only a pure shooter but that defense was spot on too.I think he’s an even better pure shooter than Delk.

He may not even be top ten. There were 3 players on the ‘24 team that shot better.Yeah Brea definitely was top 3 for sure. Good point.
Did you expect anything different? They do this every single year.Love the excitement but this is so BBN, it’s one game against a terrible team. Slow down. He should have a great year and I’m excited too but not enough to draw any conclusions.
We're up by 45 by the time Zyon and Reece check in if last night we got anything from the 4, be it through point generation or defensive stubborness.Yup we are struggling some at the 4 right now. Hopefully we get that going with Kansas coming up.
And there it is.Grady - 214 attempts - 41.51%
Brea - 214 attempts - 43.46%
Delk - 210 attempts - 44.29%
Lamb - 163 attempts - 46.63%
Let me remind the masses. PLEASE do not show any hope or optimism for any reason. Especially when the best shooter in CBB starts the year off with a great game. There’s some incredibly weak men on this board that it bothers a great deal.Love the excitement but this is so BBN, it’s one game against a terrible team. Slow down. He should have a great year and I’m excited too but not enough to draw any conclusions.
Thank you for pointing out recency bias as well as the projection of great performance against a cupcake into a given future of the complete season that contains many teams that will pose much more difficultyGrady - 214 attempts - 41.51%

Doron Lamb deserves mention, too.Kobe Brea might have something to say about that. I thought every shot he took was going in
