Apparently Louisville pulled their offer the other day and Milan pleaded for them not to and that he'd be more than happy to take 4-5 million less than that offered by UK. Just hammering out the final contract now.

When Collins was rumored to not like the JMI deal and didn’t sign when he was a lock, then the very next day says publicly he will do any NIL deal he wants it’s pretty easy to read between the lines. Feel free not to believe him though.

Here is what happened:
Milan makes UK his first call - gets his market rate. He shops that to AZ, and now Lloyd is trying to pin the donors down to see if he can pull a package together. That takes time. The longer it lasts, the less it's likely it's UK. I'd be pessimistic too as the first suitor he spent time with.
I'd have my short list together and see who is ready for next year. Schertz or Lucas top of the list. I do wonder if Lucas would even want it as Miami isn't a bad place to be. Not sure it's worth going after any established coaches like Oates, Drew, etc.

My hope is that UK has told Milan to hold off announcing until AFTER the baseball game today. If so, we should hear the announcement tomorrow or maybe tonight.
