Good post. It’s not a circus. The fans create a circus, not the guys trying to decide what to do with their career
Fans read all of this stuff all day every day and get fatigued and think it’s the players fault but the player isn’t the one putting stuff out there saying “done deal”. “Close to a commitment” etc.
He withdrew from the draft a couple days ago. I don’t care if he waits weeks to decide. His decision can change his life forever, it changes nothing for us other than excitement for a good player for a few months so of course we want it rushed.
Every single program in the country (and every single pro team on the planet) deals with pay disparities. These kids have dealt with being recruited over, losing minutes to other guys, etc. their entire playing careers. They understand that sports aren't "fair".Well, if "they" can't handle it, we are back where all of this started, dead in the water because the others would probably pout and not gel as a team. Although I agree with your last sentence, but we are talking about young men who most of them will not make the NBA and this will be their last hoorah in their basketball careers.
To put it in perspective if you definitely need blood you would pay any amount. It could be life or death!!Exactly! The reference was for Little Carmine in the Sopranos (TV Show in the 00s). The guy was known for mis-speaking and making confusing / hilariously incorrect references. Another example from him is "King Lewis" who lived in "Ver-sales"
Noah hasn't missed a shot in practice yet.If Milan actually commits can y'all imagine the competition for the 4 spot this season? Milan vs Trent is gonna be absolutely insane. Milan is taller and has the experience factor but per sources Noah is absolutely locked in and on fire this off season.
“If”??Pope is in a damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I say do it and apologize later...
or....
learn how to recruit... at your next gig if this doesnt turn out.
If they ever want to play professionally there's going to be pay discrepancies. Some guys are on max contracts while others the league minimum. Besides, guys getting paid the larger amounts are expected to perform. Comes with the territory.Every single program in the country (and every single pro team on the planet) deals with pay disparities. These kids have dealt with being recruited over, losing minutes to other guys, etc. their entire playing careers. They understand that sports aren't "fair".
The idea that introducing money is going to magically screw our locker room uniquely is just not a cause for concern. Its the way the sport works now, and effects every program.
