A friend of a friend, but not a friend of ours knows Pat Kelsey, who by the way never had the makings of a varsity athlete, gave me some information.. On Moncilovic, he claimed Pat said "
You steer the ship the best way you know... In the meantime, you find your pleasures where you can.".. I'm not sure what that means but I'm open for suggestions.

Respectfully, this is silly. Perhaps his teammates wont like it, but he is good and we need him. They are all adults (legally) and now professionals. If they can't handle it, then tough titties. The actual pros in the league deal with it, and that is their aspiration - the NBA.

LOL. That ship has already sailed, my friend. Everybody with common sense already knows he’s a NIL hunter coming for the money. One would have to be quite naïve to believe otherwise.

But he’ll still be warmly embraced and beloved …IF he produces as expected.

Exactly! The reference was for Little Carmine in the Sopranos (TV Show in the 00s). The guy was known for mis-speaking and making confusing / hilariously incorrect references. Another example from him is "King Lewis" who lived in "Ver-sales"

Well, if "they" can't handle it, we are back where all of this started, dead in the water because the others would probably pout and not gel as a team. Although I agree with your last sentence, but we are talking about young men who most of them will not make the NBA and this will be their last hoorah in their basketball careers.

Sounds like he isn’t confident in getting him but tried his best, in the meantime he’s gonna go compete in some midget wrestling matches and hit up Todd Golden to go to some coed parties.

It’s not a circus. The fans create a circus, not the guys trying to decide what to do with their career

Fans read all of this stuff all day every day and get fatigued and think it’s the players fault but the player isn’t the one putting stuff out there saying “done deal”. “Close to a commitment” etc.

He withdrew from the draft a couple days ago. I don’t care if he waits weeks to decide. His decision can change his life forever, it changes nothing for us other than excitement for a good player for a few months so of course we want it rushed.

I’ve divorced 4 women, disowned three kids and shot two dogs over this ****. If we don’t get this fixed, I’m starting to feel sorry for my fiance, my last kid and this new pup I just picked up at the pound. Let’s get some facts around here

Define "better off". Do you honestly think that this is anywhere close to a Final Four level team without him? Otherwise we are just continuing to move the goalposts because the head coach is "one of us".

If they get upset then they are in for a rude awakening in life’s journey. I never understood players being upset playing far from home or not getting minutes they feel they should get when their goal is to play in the NBA
