Matthews is going nuts! Kid turned into a helluva player.

And UNC D’s is pretty bad too. Feel like when we play them that’s going to be a high scoring game.

I like Michigan’s team this year.

#13 for Michigan is a solid player reminds me of Hesimu Evans.

I know ESPN would have you believe Duke has already went 40-0 and wont the championship (yes, even though they've already lost a game lol), but Michigan looks like they are on a mission this year to get back there and win it this time. They're very fun to watch and Charles Matthews has blossomed into an excellent player and leader for them

UNC will fall out of the rankings come ACC time, yet ESPN will hype that UNC Puke matchup like its the game(s) of the century.

And they dont have a senior in their starting lineup.

Be nice if UK could grow playing tougher opponents. When our lose I at least respect UNC for playing a schedule to build before March.... Like majority of UK fans says, "UK is a March Team". Does that make any sense? We play a 0-7 team tonight. How can we learn how to play. Our toughest opponent this year we almost lost to them by 40 while our SEC contender played them to 78-72.

This seems like an outlier for Kentucky. I went to Kenpom and your SOS is 316 (out of 353 schools). Is there a reason for that?

Not surprising but Roy has barely played Nasir Little in this game. Some argued he was the top player in the class after his all star games performances (silly I know). Still he was hyped up as a sure fire lotto draftee and projected as high as top 5. Roy is doing whatever he can to tank this kids stock.

Matthews jumper looks so much better than I remember it here.

It's cool seeing a kid develop and improve like that.

How many 4 stars have you seen cal sign? He saw what Mathews was capable of and that’s why he brought him to UK. Cal has an eye for talent. Just a shame Mathews didn’t want to stay.

This fan base would have trashed him and ruined his confidence. Most aren’t built to allow a kid to develop in a traditional and natural sense. They are expected to be good instantly.
I agree with this. BUT the reason for the fans wanting instant production and success from the players is due to the one and done/new team every year culture here. That and the players attitude that they are only going to be here for one season. Richards is a prime example.

Watching UNC get demolished is one of my favorite things in sports. Don't particularly love Michigan but hell it doesn't matter when UNC is getting thrashed.[/QUOT

UK isn't 316... So confused where you're getting this

Was it Little that got a little "chippy" with Matthews early in the game?

Yep the fans on here who are negative about everything certainly wouldn’t have given CM the time to grow and mature like he has . He would have been labeled a bust and they would trash him to no end !!

Damn does Little even play for UNC? I’ve watched a few UNC games and he has played limited minutes.

I'm glad I saw this thread...I was watching Alaska Monsters on Destination America...nice to see that UM is beating the [poop] out of UNCheat! Plus I'm glad I didn't watch it and have to listen to Vitale. [cheers]:cool2:
