At 9-0, I thought it would be 38-14 at the half. Nice comeback and had it to 3, but let MSU get back up by 7 - would've been nice to score on that last posssession. But way way better than it could have been.

was expecting a lot worse.

Same story--just don't have enough offensive skills

Mike Williams--c'mon man. 2 points? We need some offense. He is just not giving us anything offensively and we NEED that from him.

how can he when they dont even look for him...Corey is shooting it when he has the ball 10 or less? that is what I see.

What fans are seeing is a typical Rutgers road game where they play hard but just don't have enough scorers on the court to match baskets with B1G opponents.Pikiell is doing a great job with substitutions keeping the players fresh .Baker and Sanders must show more offense in the second half to keep the score under double digits.

We were down 19-9 with 7:21 to go and could have let it get away from us. Instead we buckled down and outscored them 16-13 from that point, to stay within striking range.

Corey, DeShawn, Eugene, Mike, Geo and Issa have to stay aggressive and play with confidence. Keep it close and let the chips fall where they may.

cant ask for much more...game has gone exactly how it has to for RU to keep pace. Dont expect it to be a game after the 2nd half but its very encouraging that this team worked hard and didnt give up after being down 9-0 to start. When Eugene and Issa decide to show up, the team is very different
what we need is for the whole team to show up at the same time to win these games. every game its 2 of 6 "showing up"....taking turns ....

yes. who exactly do you want to take shots?
someone has to shoot it. He's completely disappeared offensively for this team.

Corey is not passing it when he has it...what games do you guys look at? Williams is open and it doesnt come back. he has to guard Bridges and get rebounds.

Freeman, cannot wait until he is gone. I am sorry but have you seen a more selfish player who is dogshit? Never looks to pass the ball on the fast break and always loses the dribble.

Jaren Jackson is a head case. I wish we had someone to talk **** and get in his head. You can see he will beat himself with his mentality

Not to take anything away from us but Michigan State should be so much better than they are. I have a feeling they are going to disappoint in the post season

Purdue looks like a better team to me.

What can you say, at some point shots have to go down. Geo missed a wide open 3, and then 30 seconds rimmed out a 15 footer.

Frustrating as F

They call that ticky-tacky foul on Williams after not calling the one for Sanders.

This is a very slow paced game. MSU needs to speed it up but Rutgers does a good job limiting transition.

Sanders is your only true offensive threat though.

Big bucket by Freeman there, followed by ferocious defense and unfortunately a foul with the shot clock winding down. Still, a great effort so far.

And he's not exactly Steph Curry out there. Points are like pulling teeth

Souf gotta realize when hes covering a dude who averages 2 points a game that he doesnt have to play him outside the 3 point line. Sag to the foul line and clog the lane
