The defense is put in a position to be perfect every game and when they’re not people think they’re the problem. Anyone that thinks Iowa’s defense is any sort of Iowa’s problem, makes you want to question their intelligence when it comes to sports.

In 99% of the other programs in the country you could at least take solace that a game like this, near the end of a season of let downs, would get the AD in motion to make a change. I get giving a guy like Kirk a lot of grace to go out on his terms... but I also think that's what the program has been doing the last several years. It's simply time to act Beth.

Folks need to stop with this. It is a $27 million buyout. Kirk ferentz will be your head coach next year.

I'd take it out of the $15M they will set aside for the football players in revenue sharing. Tell him to retire or you will let him go and he will continue to set back the Iowa football program for the next five years paying him off. Add that to your legacy.

The defense is top ten in every category this year. They've held every opponent they’ve faced under their season averages this year. I acknowledge that you and others who can't get that through your thick skulls as the dumbest fans I've ever seen.

And you can't get thru your thick skull THAT NONE OF THAT MATTERS IN THIS GAME. Iowa is getting torched by the pass. That is a FACT.

And no, the defense doesn't bear the brunt of the blame. And I never said they did. All I have said is the pass defense this game has been terrible.

One thing we don't do with our RBs this year is find ways to get them free to the edges/outside tackle.

Why they could do it with Kaleb Johnson who was a one-cut back with a weaker OL last year, and can't do that with a "veteran" OL this year is truly dumbfounding......
